Perrine couldn't help but chuckle.

"Yeah, I really am, huh!" The half-Quilon's eyes seemed to work at least similar to the ones of the other's.

"Are you always so excited when meeting someone new.. or purple?" Not that she couldn't understand it. And Perrine definitely preferred those sorts of people over the moody ones!

“Uh, DUH!” Like she should expect it! “First of all, s’like, people are sooooo fucking stellar, y’know? They’ve all got different thoughts and feelings and energies and everything’s in their head. And, like. Second. You’re purple! Like! That’s not every day, y’know. Even back on-planet, no one was purple. It was, like. Just me, ‘nd stuff.”

“OH MY SKIES!”

The words explode from her, voracious and shatteringly, and if there were walls to shake, they would’ve, simply from her exuberance.

“YOU’RE PURPLE, TOO!”

She points to them, as if they don’t know what they look like, or can’t see. Hey, maybe they can’t! Maybe they don’t see at all, or don’t see color like she does, or—

“Well— I’m more pinky purple than you. You are so... oh my skies, you’re, like, SOoooOoOoo cute!”

harry lets out a long sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. this girl is insane. "first of all, no, i don't like you, i need you to stay put so i can know why and how you got on my fucking ship. second, still no, i don't know how it is. i don't know what you're talking about."

There’s two reasons the smile fades from her face. ‘Course, ‘cause he doesn’t like her at all — shouldn’t be a shock, really, no one ever has, or ever will. (She can almost see Eryk’s frowning face, stark disagreement.) Second, though—...

“S— ship? We’re on... we’re... we’re on a ship?”

She Blinks — automatic reaction, physically phasing out of existence for a moment. One second there, one not — then she’s back, food pressed to her chest, wide-eyed and wild.

“No— we’re not... it’s not a ship. Hah. Don’t fuck with me.”

As if he’d know why that thought terrifies the shit outta her.

it's not that he can understand the robot, he definitely can't, but with the girl translating for it, he's not going to ignore it, not if it gets him off of this ship faster. it is not, unfortunately for her, the kindness she thinks it is.

eating. she's squirreled away into the galley supplies and is now eating their food, which they need. maybe she needs it too, of course, but still. "uh huh. hilarious." he sighs, damn heartstrings tugging, knowing the feeling of not enough food to go around. "i'm gonna stay right here, make sure you don't take too much, don't sneak off, understand?" he frowns, now just plain confused. "...dirt? why?"

Don’t sneak off? He doesn’t want her to sneak off? “Hey... you like me already?” She brightens — he wants her to stay! “Well, sorry, can’t stick around long! No matter how cute you are! ‘Cause, like. Y’know. The people.” She waves her hands, as if that’s an explanation, and pulls more food into her pockets.

“Dirt so I can get outta here! Make my Gate, be all, woosh-woo, y’know how it is.”

he keeps the knife in his hand, ready to attack, but then she starts...talking. a lot. and he's not really sure what to make of that. he goes from defensive, angry, protective, to...exasperated. confused. annoyed, like he's wasting his time for this.

he looks at the robot as it beeps, eyebrows raising and falling in acknowledgement leaning against the door frame. "mm, ya don't say. first time i've ever heard that one."

and then she keeps talking. gods almighty, she keeps talking. his free hand comes up, pinching the bridge of his nose as he lets out a long sigh. "if you don't want me hurting you, answer my question. what are you doing?"

He actually responds to Roamer, which, y’know, is totally something. Most people brush them off — Willow flashes a smile. But that smile goes back to being a nervous one when she’s asked what she’s doing.

“Eating!” She holds up one of the bitten brown things in the hand behind her back. A raw potato. “I’ll be, like, gone before you know it! In like, a blink! Ha, blink, that’s funny.” It would be, if he knew what Blinking was. Roamer shows a XD on their face about it, and Willow smiles at them, sharing a moment of humor that’d normally be alone. “Just eating, that’s all! Just a bite, or, or two, or something. Then I’ll be off! So so so so off! Hey, you got any dirt anywhere?”
