Unable to help the low, yet pleased groan that spilled forth from her lips the moment his teeth sank into her flesh, the advertising overlord began to lightly pant with heat rising to her cheeks. Ferrous liquid continued to drip down from her wrist, however, in a tempting way for him to consume more of her.

during the time i spent away to take care of real life obligations, it's given me a chance to reflect on the direction i was taking xifeng and her character. while i'm still very much going to keep writing her as alastor's right hand woman, i feel like there's a whole avenue that i've not explored all that much and that's still having her independence even with being wholly devoted to alastor.

watching season two also helped me come to this conclusion in regards to alastor's scenes with vox, especially the one that was set in the past.

so in addition to the one verse that i've been using, i'll also set up another one where she's more independent that follows the stuff i've stated in this post (that's still a wip ofc!) in this verse, it'd open her up to more possible ships and the like, tho it'll still be an uphill battle and a half for her to even get to that point (i'm a sucker for slow burns)
