If there was one thing Krystal hated, it was being the last o leave the bar. Itâs not that she hated the tedious work of cleaning the barâs counter or the tables that were lined up along the walls, or even the endless sweeping she had to do on the concrete floors. It was the fact that she had to walk the streets, late at night, and all alone. Now, she doesnât wish to give off the misconception of her being afraid to wander the streets late at night, no, that is not the case. She just hates the silence she is left with, not the paranoia of every dark alley and street corner causing her to keep a hand clutched on a pokeball, while the other is ready to throw a punch if necessary.Â
And so, while she locks the doors of the bar and sticks the key in her pocket, she tries hard to not jump or throw a pokemon when she hears movement further down the street, the way she needs to go if she desires to make it back to her apartment before four. âFuck.â She curses lightly, turning her head down the opposite way of the street and back to her normal route, she realizes she needs to make a decision, and make one fast. After much debate, her legs taking her down her normal route at a rather fast pace. In this case, she removes a pokeball from itâs holder and keeps it securely held in her left hand, and makes her way to the corner of the street.
 As she nears, she hears a distant noise, and yet again, her paranoia kicks in. What if it was that drunk guy that wouldnât stop flirting earlier tonight? She shook away the thought, for that man left two hours before closing, there was no way. He wouldnât have waited for me, would he have? Soojung shook away her worries again, but her hand tightened on the pokeball when she hears the sound of shoes scuffing on the concrete. Oh no, I bet heâs just around the coroner, ready to strikeâŠÂ
Whatever hesitation she had left in her depleted, and she jumped around the corner as fast as she could, chunking her pokeball at a complete strangerâs head. While Artemis appeared, realization dawned on her that this was definitely not the drunk man who wouldnât take a hint. Soojungâs hands touch her face to hide her loud gasp, and the pokeball falls to the floor. Mawile, back already faceing the opponent, momentarily looks at Soojung, confused why sheâs hear when there obviously isnât a battle about to take place, and Soojung realizes the person across from her is rubbing her head, and the young woman finally speaks.
"I am so, so, so sorry!â She bites her lip and moves her hands to be placed over her chest, her heart beating in double time.
