Have any raids happened with this server? Or covert antis joining? I'm thinking about requesting an invite but I'm super paranoid

The last time we had a raid was... gosh, over like 3/4 years ago by now?

And mind, this was before we implemented all of the safety precautions we have in place now, and since then the most we've ever had is the occasional one off anti who slips in and makes a few weird, trying-too-hard posts before inevitably getting bored and leaving, though that as well hasn't happened for at least a couple years by this point.

We have quite a few measures in place to keep the server as much of a safe space as possible, including a vetting process, as well as a delineation between new members and full members in the server itself, with the more "sensitive" channels like vent and blacklist being gated from new members until they reach a certain milestone - one that isn't easily reached by simply existing in the server for a set amount of time.

All in all, we do our best to keep you guys as safe and comfortable as we possibly can. We'd love to have you!

most of the server is sfw and those are our active channels, but we do have a handful of nsfw channels locked to full adult members.

Hi mod! I wanted to say I really appreciate what youre doing. I'd honestly love to join one day, but right now I'm in a really bad mental space and I can't, so I'd like to put out a question here directly in case anyone can extend some help even though i'm not in the discord? getting some anonymous messages so just to round up:

We do vet people entering the server. While we wish this wasn't necessary, the safety of our current members is important to us, and it wouldn't be the first time people have tried to enter a pro-ship server in bad faith to harass, stalk, or "expose" the people in it. As such, we do need something to look at; a tumblr, twitter, ao3, dreamwidth, or similar. Alternatively, if you know current members in the server, ask them to send a message in the 1-800-contact-mods channel or to DM me, Ellis.

Anon who hasn't used their twitter much: if it's okay, send your twitter handle anyway and I'll DM you over there to see what we can do.

Can I ask how do you escape anti spaces? The most well known and trusted mogai blogs here are anti proship, and it's distressing to have to pretend. Do you have any advice? I don't feel safe saying my ideals, I fear the rejection and potential harrasment.

Hey anon, I'm sorry to hear you're having a bad time. Unfortunately, at the moment I'm the one answering this blog, and I... don't really have an answer for you. But I don't want you to feel like you weren't heard, so I'm gonna post this up and hope some people who do know can weigh in.

Hello! I am someone who has problems with my age due to delusions, i saw that you needed to share your age range in your introduction yet I cannot know my age (it is impossible for me to know, i don't have an age) is there any possible way i could join the server without having to say my age/age range ?

Hey, anon! We don't see any reason to keep you out of the server, but without some idea of age we will have to assume you're a minor. That means you'll still have access to most of the server, but we can't allow access to the 18+ channels if we can't be reasonably confident you're old enough.

We hope that sounds like a fair solution to you; if it does, please send another ask logged in, as we need a journal to check before we send an invite.

We actually have a few ex-antis in server, so you’d be welcome to join us, although we’re not specifically a support server. Otherwise, I don’t know any offhand, but I’ll throw it out for the other mods and followers to answer, hope that helps.

hi! i just wanted to know if ny'all could share how big the server is, and if it has any system friendly bots like pluralkit? it sounds like a great way to meet more shippers, we just wanna know if it'd be a safe place for our system before asking for an invite ^^

Hey there, and thanks! Hope you’re having a good day too.

The server is about 150 members, although not all of them are active and the channel tends to be slow-medium paced.

We do not currently run any bots like pluralkit, as we’re not sure how that would interact with our modding needs at this time. We do welcome systems and plurals, however, and we have active system members and a system mod.
