There's also his Aegir biology and training happening in the background, so his stamina is remarkably steady. He is not a deity, of course.

Gloved digits curl inward, his grasp on the leather-bound manuscript tightening until his joints creak subtly from exertion. The Aegirian chews on his inner lip, resisting the sudden urge to distance himself from her. But he was caught in a whirling storm of apprehensiveness. Moving away from her would be a blatant show of disrespect, wouldn't it?

I have to say that I adore this older and more jaded look for Jordi. It's a contrast to his youthful self, and it shows just how many burdens this Aegir carries as a mender of broken diplomatic ties.

Jordi is essentially the embodiment of innocence when it boils down to stimulation. Intimacy isn't something that he actively indulges in, or even thinks about canonly. Jordi might be an Islander, but his ancestral connections are all of watery origin. He has a somewhat complex relationship with the ocean itself.
