also post-tfall pre-apex Jean would for the majority deal in favors more than cash I think bc for one, cash can be traced and for another, there’s always some gravity with favors like a payment in forward but the price is always unclear and could be more or less than expected. like. she’s traded heads for secret boarding and packages for flights from planet to planet. names for locations and vice versa. and plus she can put up a convincing facade of knowing more than she actually does (esp as she gets older and simply learns how to do it better) and just.
