//I need to stop vanishing~
Sightseeing || Cynthia & Green
Cynthia blinked, eyes carefully examining the fossil. It was a fairly slow day at Pewter City’s Museum; few people were here perusing the ancient artifacts. Quite honestly, the only people here would be the museum curators and the so-called ‘fossil maniacs.’ Wonder if I fall into the latter category, mused the Sinnoh Champion. Personally she would call herself something else, seeing as she was more interested in ancient writings and mythology rather than the fossilized remains of Pokemon and humans. However, she didn’t deny that seeing the skeletons of Pokemon such as Aerodactyl was rather interesting. “‘Bet there’s some stories of these Pokemon terrorizing people.” The blonde woman said out loud.
She sighed; it was time to go. She was spending far too much time dilly-dallying in the museum. The lady was on a small errand. Professor Rowan had asked Cynthia to deliver a package to the famous Professor Oak, and how could she ever say no to her former mentor? Plus, at least it meant she could travel to Kanto. Though she wasn’t sure if there were any ruins here…She shook her head. “Time to head south.” The Champion stepped outside the museum, her coat billowing in the wind as she hurried through the city towards Viridian Forest.
"Who's coming?" Green practically had to repeat to his old man. Yep, he heard him correctly. The ever so popular Cynthia that people looked up to for multiple reasons, as a trainer and for how much of a looker she was, is coming here. This really only got the former champion more interested. After hearing he got to meet her half way he made sure to do exactly that. "Got it Gramps, I'll be heading out now." With that, Green had to think just what city would be the best town to meet her first.
Once there he noticed Cynthia walking in the distance, which made him slightly wave to the blonde with a smirk "I take it you're comin' to see Gramps huh? He wanted me to meet you here"
//Hey there guy's I'm back! Sorry for the long wait. I've been tr ying to come up with a muse, finally I have a idea in mind. But I need a Red rper to do it with.
Also I'm open to any and all rps if you guys want to
@prettydynamite
"…."
Deep breath Green, deep breath.
"Yeah, I became champion first, but right after I did, Red came walking in and challenged me and beat me. I didn’t get to be champion for long." Running a hand across his belt with his pokeballs, he decided on his Arcanine, tossing the pokeball out and taking a stance.
"Alright then"
Gah, it was almost as if he could tell what she was thinking! Shaking her head, Whitney shrugged his words off. “I didn’t ask!” The pink head pointed out, throwing a Pokeball out onto the field. “Ambipon, you’re up!”
"I know, you just asked if red was. I figured I'd let you know the story so you knew" Shrugging, he just added. "Ah, Ambipon~ I see" Well Normal types were totally fine by him. This just made things all the more interesting to him now
@prettydynamite
"Boy, haven’t heard that one in a while" Which , that statement happened to be sarcasm. It seemed like everyone was saying that to him. Maybe he should actually agree to it. "Huh , ya sure? I was the champion of my region for a while" He lies, by a’ while’ he means only a day at most.
"But sure, why not. I haven’t battled in a while"
Wait, champion? Wasn’t Red the title holder for Kanto? Shaking her head, Whitney took note. She’d ask about that later! “One on one, no substitutes. I’ll let you choose your partner, first.” Interested to see who Green would choose, the gym leader was on standby, foot tapping against the ground.
"...."

"Well. Gramps told me that I should start going around to different regions. Instead of just bugging red and trying to beat him like I use to" Green rubbed the back of his head before approaching her. Hands in his leather jacket’s pockets before shrugging his shoulders.
"I’d be okay with getting acquainted"
"Your grandfather is a wise man. Chasing a rival will not make you a better trainer. Experience might!" Reaching for a small pink case that stood near the gym leader’s side, she popped the lid open, revealing three Pokeballs. "Tell you what. If you can beat my most prized partner, I’ll show you around town."

"You’re the normal type gym leader right? Finally nice to see ya’. The name’s Green Oak. Grandson of professor oak. Hope you don’t mind if I drop by?" He grinned to himself, hands in his pockets.
Whitney nods her head, confirming her identity. “I am! Come on down!” Motioning for Green to step into the arena, the gym leader waved her understudies away. “Are you here to challenge me, or just to drop in and better acquaint yourself with Johto gyms?”
"Well. Gramps told me that I should start going around to different regions. Instead of just bugging red and trying to beat him like I use to" Green rubbed the back of his head before approaching her. Hands in his leather jacket's pockets before shrugging his shoulders.

☼The Grass is Greener in Celadon City
The subtle gust of the wind
The lush, green grasses that surround us
The way the flowers dance upon the ground
And how the sun shines above us all.

––{✿❀} The botanist had spent pretty much her entire morning aiding her garden. In fact, she hadn’t even truly been in her gym all day - at least she didn’t seem to have many challengers heading her way. And lucky for her, she had yet to doze off in the garden she cared so much for.
Erika stood outside her perfume shop, digging through the pockets of her golden kimono for the key to open the glass doors, hoping to be able to get her shop up and running for the day. She was already late upon opening, and the misplacement of the door’s key only irritated her. She could have sworn they were in her pockets, a look of determination playing on her complexion.
The sound of footsteps snapped her out of her concentration, however. The ravenette turned her head, a bit surprised by the figure behind her. She turned herself to fully face the male, a bright smile forming on pretty pink lips as she withdrew her hands from her pockets and clapped them together lightly. “Green, what a surprise,” her soft, gentle voice greeted. “It’s been a little while since I’ve last seen you. What brings you to Celadon City this morning, hm?”
It was a pretty beautiful day. So much so that he couldn't help but admire just how much this place reflected that. 'Course he'd never openly admit that to anyone. He was a laid back guy and he wouldn't let something like 'smelling the roses' or something like that get in his way. After a long walk he found himself at a familiar shop.
This really brings back memories of when I got here to face up against Erika..
Regardless her voice snapped him out of that trance as he couldn't help but chuckle to himself. "It always is a surprise when I come by a town it seems right? No one suspects me of coming back after I got a badge." Guess that proved them wrong right? "I guess I was just looking to see what's been goin' on"

“Oh my….” the young man’s eyes lit up at the site of the group that stood before him, suddenly realized he’d stumbled into a busy part of town. Slightly intimidated, he felt a stinging feeling overtake him slightly, as he did not plan to be in any sort of crowd today. A bustling group, really—many of them conversing loudly about much of what he didn’t understand, nor particularly care about.
Perhaps they hadn’t yet noticed him, perhaps no one was here to see him. Choosing the latter of the two complications, Thorton continued to direct his attention down to the at the device he held tightly in his hand, ignoring the group completely. After all, he had much more important things on the go.
“Eugh…” he sighed; something wasn’t right. Realizing that the battery to the analytic device he clenched tightly in his grip was running low, he began to panic. Nothing scared him more than running around with a dead battery! Oh dear—oh no. Frantically glancing around, hoping to not have to pay much attention to—or Arceus forbid converse with— the crowd, he stood up quickly, glancing around hoping to head to the nearest Pokemon center—which he knew was just beyond this route, and into Snowpoint. But even that was a fair distance, and he hoped that the batter on his precious communicator would last that long, otherwise he may shrivel into nothingness
Green was actually quite enjoying his stay in this region. Sure, it was a bit busy and what not. Though he didn't mind that all that much. Hands in his pockets as he watched some.. person with a interesting device in his hands. Looking around as if he was forgetting something. He had no idea that he needed new batteries or something. Once he began to panic. He felt like he just had to walk over and ask him what was wrong. Normally he didn't care, or just.. You know, mind his own buisness.
But since he had never been here before he felt like this might be good.
"Hey. Is something a matter?" He asked with a calm tone. He had no idea who Thorton was. For now, he just was cool about this all
