“Cherry yogurt?” Jax made the face of disgusted, one eye rolled to the ceiling, tongue out. “That’s the most offensive thing I’ve heard today. And I hear a lot of offensive things…like, I say most of them. But that’s not the point.” He huffs when she takes the paper out of his hands and shoves them in his pockets instead. “Man, Blaire. Live a little. Don’t worry about the consequences…wow that was a bad advice. I mean, worry about them just don’t let them hold you back, yanno?”
But he sighed, figuring on this call, she was actually right, and reached out to snatch the paper back, eyes scanning over codes, trying to commit them to memory. “The only ones I care about are the kitchen code and the armory code.”
“Yeah. It’s great, I promise.” she laughs. “First of all, all actions have consequences. So I’m gonna worry about them. Consequences lead to more actions and then you’re stuck in this corner and you don’t have many places to run. And I like freedom.” She says, “I won’t let them hold me off b- you know what? Nevermind.”
She raises an eyebrow at him. “I’m pretty sure that those two codes are the most important in the building.”
