Born from an apple tree, what if?
A very big thanks to @randomreader92 and @kitsunesongs for letting me play in their sanboxes. So, as the lovely duckies are aware, I came up with an insane idea that Sarah was born from a fruit that came from Eden, or more specially the tree of knowledge. It is set where Alastor takes the part of Alice, and Bumby kills Alastor's parents because he is a fucking creep, and seeing Alice kill him in-game was very satisfying to watch. So here is yet another idea from my mind.

The what if orb is dangerous, and everyone in the hotel agrees upon that. They also agree that Alastor cannot find out about it; they have already seen that the hotel will fail without Alastor.
They need him.
However, Vox has been listening in the whole time via Angel's phone, and he thinks he can use this to get ALastor to join him, to leave the hotel and join the Vees. The problem is?
Lucifer has locked the orb up tightly, and no one can get access to it. So he needs a way to get the orb. The problem is, no matter what he or anyone else does, they can't break the protections on the orb, and only Lucifer can access it. So Vox does what he does best: he baits people, he tricks and manipulates them into doing what he wants. All it takes is him using Angel to say that he thinks that Alastor would be a better father than Luicfer and suddenly Lucifer is falling for it hook, line, and sinker.
The problem is that it doesn't work the way Vox wants it to, and so he broadcasts the what if orb to Hell, not just the Pride Ring, but the whole ofHell. He wants to prove just what kind of people those in the hotel are and what kind of person Alastor really is. Vox does not believe that Alastor will ever be a good parent.
He firmly believes that if Alastor had any children, then he would have killed them. Vox knows that he isn't the only one who thinks so, after all, Alastor is known for only sticking around so long as things are entertaining to him.
But no one is expecting it when a grown adult man propositions what is clearly a very young Alastor, nor do they expect it when they see just who his parents are. Interracial couples were a killable offence; the fact that both of Alastor's parents are alive and his father is a white man?
Is nothing short of a miracle.
Then the fire happens, and his family is killed. Then Bumby swoops in like a 'hero' to save Alastor, to offer him a way to get better. It doesn't take them long to figure out that Bumby was the one to kill Alastor's parents, just so he could have Alastor to himself, so that he could groom Alastor into being his perfect bride.
The electroshock therapy, the sleep deprivation, the starvation, the beatings, the hypnosis that Bumby forced Alastor to go through, all the while claiming that Alastor was insane, when he wasn't. using every legal loophole that he could find to keep Alastor in the insane asylum.
Then they all see Wonderland and the effects that Bumby's treatments are having on it, and how Wonderland creates a child for Alsator. A flesh and blood child. Lucifer looks at Wodnerland, and he can see pieces of Eden, and the tree?
He had seen that Tree in Eden; it can't be, can it?
But they all see how Alastor is with Sarah, how doting he is, how he looks at her as if she is his reason for living. Then they see Bumby, and Bumby's rage and Alastor being 'defiled', how Bumby takes Sarah and tries to kill her, only for him to return to Alastor and find her there, staring at him with eyes that are not human. That night, Bumby dreams of drawing like how he had tried to drown Sarah, he can feel the hands on his neck and when he awakes?
There are bruises around his throat as if someone had tried to strangle him.
Bumby avoid Sarah after that; he won't even look at her.
They watch as Alastor heals, and as he heals, so does Wonderland. They see Sarah take her first steps in the muddy ground of Wonderland, and they hear her first word.
All the while, Bumby is plotting in the background. Bumby pays to have Sarah kidnapped, knowing that Alastor's love for the monster would break him. However, there is a small problem.
The kidnappers are a gibbering mess; they speak of trees with mouths and teeth, they scream in the dark, and one of them has already gouged their eyes out when no one was looking. They are admitted to an insane asylum as they scream and plead to keep the eyes away from them. Bumby knows that it is due to the little monster that his plan fell through. So Bumby proposes sending Sarah to a boarding school when she is old enough, to get a better education, to give her the best start that they can.
Education will help her after all.
It is easy to see what it is, a ploy to split the pair of them up, but Alastor loves his daughter, and he knows that she cannot stay with him forever; she will need school at some point, so why not now?
Now that she is old enough?
Afterall, he can still visit her via Wonderland after all. So Bumby gets what he wants, and he watches with glee as the little monster is shipped off to a boarding school in England. He has even arranged it so that she will be given citizenship over there; he has made sure that it will be exceedingly difficult for her to return to America and to Alastor. But Alastor doesn't collapse like he expects, and each week Alastor receives letters and gifts, he is doing better, and Bumby hates it. So he scales up what he is doing and begins to drug Alastor's food and drink. He then leaves Alastor in random places to make Alastor think that he is having an episode of some kind.
All the while, the whole of Hell watches.
Then comes the climax, Sarah returns to Alastor, a vicious, cunning and devious young woman, who looks at Bumby, and she sees all the dark bits that Bumby has been trying to hide. Alastor learns that it was Bumby who killed his family and Bumby who tried to kill his daughter, that Bumby had wanted them separated so that he could turn Alastor into Bumby's wife. Bumby's and Bumby's alone.
It is easy enough to kill him.
They watch as an adult Alastor takes over the orphanage, where Bumby was conducting rather disturbing experiments. They watch as Alastor does as many jobs as he can to keep the orphanage afloat and make sure that the building is repaired and up to date, they watch how he takes to the streets and begins to kill those that re like Bumby, those that knew what Bumby was doing and turned a blind eye to it because Bumby would pay them money to do so. They watch as no one will hire Sarah and pay her a decent wage, not without strings attached; one even said that she would make a pretty whore.
So they watch and see how she dives into a fight ring, with bloody knuckles and a smile on her face, they watch as she refines her skills and makes friends with the other fighters. They watch as she hands money to Alastor for the orphanage, for those that she considers family. Her siblings.
They see how Alastor slowly becomes a famous Radio Host, and yet despite it all, he is paid pennies compared to his colleagues, they watch as he hunts each night, killing those that take advantage of those that are vulnerable, the sick, the elderly, children, single mothers who are struggling to pay for food because their families have left them to rot. All because of something that was not their fault. They watch as Sarah defends the orphanage from those who want nothing more than to see it burned to the ground.
Then they witness Alastor's death and his arrival in Hell.
They witness his first years in Hell, then they see him arrive at the hotel, the way that he prodded and poked at Lucifer, how he needled Lucifer into being better, into doing better.
Then they saw the soft moments: Alastor draping a blanket over Lucifer as he slept, cooking Lucifer's favourite foods, how Alastor stopped needling Lucifer as much, how Lucifer, in turn, flourished.
Then came the question.
The courting.
Then the question.
Will you marry me?
How Alastor said yes, and how he introduced Lucifer to his child, his fawn, Sarah. Who hadn't aged since she had turned twenty-one, and how, in turn, Lucifer was introduced to Wonderland and everything in it.
They witnessed the marriage between Lucifer and Alastor and how Hell flourished, how things changed, redemption was possible, Heaven and Hell working together, everything was better. So much better.
Then the orb warbles before it shows an image of Sarah dressed in red, a crown upon her head.
"I am the Red Queen, the last line of defence, and you, my dear Lilith? Well, you have just made a fatal error."
The what if orb switchs off before a gaint crack appears in the crystal.
