We're still looking for a house with all of my art stuff packed up, so I bought myself some little acrylic paints to go in my little sketchbook and it feels SO GOOD to be back at it! My next goal is to build a huge canvas to pour paint and water all over

I’ve been thinking a lot about analogue memory keeping

Like I have my daily journal digitally in Notion with my diary and photos, and then I have my junk journal just for aesthetic artistic purposes, but I can’t go about my life thinking I can add ANOTHER WHOLE thing to my day - like those insanely cool daily aesthetic journal scrapbook diaries? Hobonichi style? I want. God knows I have the skills and art supplies… but uhhh my three kids, two dogs, work from home day job, and side business, along with art and learning development says NO time for that.

But… I think I’m making a solution? I just have to get a plan down for after we move for development

It’s been one off those vacations where I think I would have gotten more rest if I had stayed home 💜 my kids are overjoyed and I’ve been eating a ton of good food, my sibs was in town - but it’s like 4x the work to parent at my parents house, I’m more tired and I haven’t gotten true alone time in literally two weeks… worth it? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I haven’t decided
