Not to sound dramatic, but there is this balance of feelings that comes with a system change: (1) crippling failure (2) happiness and joy at making a house a home.

I'm tempted to make a video about journaling without rules.
People see journaling videos on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube and think they have to make something as aesthetically pleasing as those, and that's simply not true.
You don't need all the washi tapes, stickers, or expensive markers and pens to make something yours.
Your journal is meant for you. Your journal should grow with you. And if halfway through the journal, your aesthetic or goals change, then so be it.
Logging my week and leaving a chaotic swirl of paper clutter. I’ve always been a messy person by nature despite my best efforts.
