          A small smile curls the woman’s lips upwards as her hand extends to rest on the gem of one of the conservatory’s many Starmie. It truly was a good thing that they’d saved the Pokemon in time, or it is likely that it wouldn’t have survived.

          The woman tapped her fingers impatiently against folded arms, lips drawn in a thin line. Most times, the trainers that Guzma provided were incompetent. She hoped that this one time, they could provide the defense she needed to carry out her plan.

          She infiltrated his gang’s town, decimated his crew, and came all the way up to his base just to make him an offer?

          Guzma snorted, shaking his head in disbelief.

                    ❝ A’ight, lady, ya better make this an offer I can’t refuse, ❞ he said, allowing his head to rest on his hand. He continued to drum his fingers along the wood of his armrest with the other. ❝ I ain’t in any mood for BS, you feel me? I’ll hear you out and all, but I don’t have to accept nothin’. ❞

          Verdant hues narrow just so, a pleasant grin forming on her lips. The change in expression is accompanied by the raising of her hand to cup her chin as she observed the boss for a moment, silently determining how to deal with the situation.

          ❝From what I’ve gathered, you run a rather large organization.❞ Her hand lowers, and instead gestures to the entrance to the room. ❝I imagine it takes a lot of money---and if I may be so bold, you seem to be lacking that.❞

          She pauses for only a moment to return her hand to her hip, her head canting to the side. ❝Come work for me. As I said, you’ve a large group, which I’m in need of. Work for me, and you’ll be handsomely rewarded. Things will certainly get easier around here if you do, don’t you agree?❞
