Life is going well

But I feel as though I'm at the edge of a cliff recently. I have no real motivation to work and my performance is, to put it nicely, dismal. I'm dealing with health issues sooner than expected in life. My parents are not getting younger. The usual I suppose.

Thinking about living to an old age (and how on earth am I supposed to keep working until then) is genuinely dreadful. I feel trapped.

Other than the existence of my friends, the only thing really motivating me to continue is rock climbing. I wish I could just take a really really long break from everything.

The Dark is Rising was an incredible book. Haven't felt this thrilled since reading Earthsea.

Life is still going well

I painted for the first time in over a year

Every day is full of new things, and I'm surrounded by such kind and interesting people. I'm grateful.

Messed around with color compositions and ended up with yet another drawing of matoba and natori lollll the heavily color edited version (first one) is the one I ended up liking :] and process shots that show the original idea and how it evolved from there… kind of like the original idea but I end up making everything colorful if I work on it too long
