GOOD ITALO-DISCO STUFF - hi fellas!!! today we'd shake u with some nostalgic stuff straightaway back to '80s Diana Est
Lifeguard Nights is a Vincent Brue’s project including all his gang. ‘Bruetown’ has been released on mid of February 2014, it’s available on Bandcamp and contains all sounds from the beaches of New Jersey. Their sound is ideally for your fire on the beach with your friends and your stories, just with classical guitar and beer packs. But if you involve a little band, it’s perfect for your nights in a pub, with smell of dark beer, blended malt whiskey and so much smoke in the air that your eyes will burn. Oh, and don’t forget a pooltable and darts! Anyway, all tracks are running smoothly and reveal an experience in melodies and arrangements. I’d say an experience of minstrel that goes from place to place singing stories and entertaining people. In all this stuff, a great role is performed by Vincent’s voice, well calibrated and well melted with the overall sound. Very enjoyable, to recommend.
Mature, scratched, aggressive, superb… yes, I like them. They are AustraliA, a punk-rock duo based in Pisa, Tuscany [IT]. Yeah, do you know where the pending tower is? Well, starting from today you know there is also AustraliA there. They started only in late 2012 and in the mid of 2013 they released a very jewel, ‘Robot’. I’d say it’s great for connoisseur and lovable for laymen. Mr. Xicano’s guitar will literally shake you and you’ll start to move compulsively without knowing the reason why. Olga’s drums and synth give structure to the overall sound. I’d say the perfect match, great affinity, some very good stuff. The precious stone within ‘Robot’ is absolutely ‘Two distant beds’, it’s a pure ballade. In all such kind of stuff there is a wolf on their cover. To be honest with you I’m still thinking about the meaning. Maybe it’s a dingo [Australia… dingo…]. Anyway, I leave posterity to pass judgment. In the meanwhile, I’m leaving you to enjoy them.

GOOD CHILLWAVE STUFF - good morning folks! tnx god monday is over and this thuesday doesn't seem so bad, does it? enjoy ur morning with oOoOO
Muffled voice and dirty guitar for this London based trio, Bare Pale. I’d say maybe too much. Sometimes they are so melted and so tight that is not clearly distinguishable what is what. Bare Pale’s ‘If it is‘ is a quite good product even if it’s quite standardized with the current trend within the genre. It’s not shocking but it’s 20 mins of quite good music. The best track is definitively ‘You look so different today’ with differentiated melody and a range of variations. I’m pretty sure that working better with the mixer these guys could have great results. They have everything on the right place: a mature voice, strong drums and a working guitar. Ideal company for your cold, snowy, windy winter nights.

It happens very few times to press the play button and say ‘wow!’. But then, what happen, you hold your ‘wow!’ within yourself because you’re afraid to break the fairy atmosphere that is surrounding you already. It’s exactly what happened with Empathy Test’s first EP, ‘Losing Touch’. You are catapulted straightaway into a limbo between late ’80s and 2000s, between old fashion synths & drum machine and modern loops. The best soundtrack for your next spring, to chase your next love, to enjoy your next moments of loneliness. Absolutely, definitively magic. Empathy Test is a duo project by Adam Relf and Isaac Howlett, based in London [UK]. With such starting, and a little of goodwill from their side, we’ll hear great things from these guys. Waiting for some live sessions, Empathy Test’s ‘Losing Touch’ will be available starting from Feb 28th in digital format on all major digital outlets and in CD format on Amazon On Demand.
