absolutely hate it when I wake up tired like what the fuck did I lie unconscious for
i’m doing it for the plot (creating a beautiful life for myself no matter the cost)

“With the right music, you either forget everything or you remember everything.”

people knowing your pain and adding to it while you’re still recovering is some devil shit fr.
James Baldwin.
That feeling of falling in love w life again after a long period on autopilot … absolutely ineffable. These days I try to linger a little while longer in patches of sunlight on cold winter mornings even when I’m on my way to things
"I CANT HANDLE THIS" *handles this*
"I CANT TAKE ANOTHER DAY" *takes another day*
Izzy Ravas, from her novel titled Disarm: A Forbidden Romance (What We Don't Say,)
anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.
be around people who think everything about you is a big deal. your birthday. favorite food. favorite flowers. you in general. a big deal.
but this is kinda good cause honestly I don’t need to know all of that
vulnerability is so important but I will not be partaking in it
