As a Frenchie I need to mention this in passing... The "Jim Queen" animated comedy will be released soon. They dropped the trailer not so long ago. For those of you not aware of it, it is just a little French extravagant queer comedy about the super-star of gay people getting the new, horrible disease that is spreading through the world known as "heterosis", that turns all homos into heteros, and to cure everybody he will undergo a quest to find the substance known as "chloroqueer"... It is this type of humor. For those who know your French references, it is by the same team as the Kassos - it should tell you enough X)

And you know that I never post without a good reason... One of the symptoms of the "heterosis" plague is the "loss of body-worship", the end of the "perfect bod culture". Resulting, as the trailer shows, in a LOT of gay men getting big guts. And the very protagonist, the titular Jim Queen, who begins with a literal sixteen packs, will also turn into a muscle-chub as the story unfolds (again, as seen by the trailer). Bara fans rejoice.

Being busy busy currently, but I just want to pass by to remind you people to be safe from ROLEPLAYERS. Throughout my experience, friends' experience and people-I-do-not-know experiences throughout the online kink world, it became clear that a lot of the most toxic people around are those that want to engage you into a roleplay.

I am not speaking about group roleplays (though those tend to suck too but usually because they are badly organized and badly managed), no I am speaking about people that invite you to do one-on-one roleplays. So far every time, EVERY SINGLE TIME, the person ended up being a psycho one way or another - from the guy with illegal fetishes and violent emotional outbursts, to the guy that force onto people unsolicited things and accuses you of "leading them on" when you tell them you don't want to, to the guy that doesn't actually want a roleplay but just wants you to nod at everything they say.

Nowadays "roleplaying" in our circles can be a red flag - so keep safe out there!

I am reading this book in French translation and I got jump-scared by a kinky fat moment in the middle of it.

As the protag goes to a police station to meet someone working there he discovers (in French) a "fleshy" man, twenty centimeters higher than him and around twice his weight, described as "the type of an American football player that seriously stopped training". And as they talk about eating and food, the policeman (who has been forced at a minor desk-job due to previous troubles) mentions how he eats of everything, but since now he spends his time behind his desk, not going out and not exercising, he gained at least five or ten kilos - and he says so while "grabbing two balls of fat out of his belly and shaking them". (It sounds better in French)

I wanted to check the English original but could not find it right away, so I looked at a Spanish translation instead and I was quite surprised to see the amount of weight he says to have gained is there unspecified ("I must have gained quite some weight"). But I finally understand, because I got a gaze at the English text for this scene and the sentence used is indeed not easy to translate.

The scene notably opens with two "fat foreshadowers" so to speak: the first cops the protagonist sees are said to be "pudgy" (I missed this in the French text because they turned it into "baraqué" which means large or stout but in a more strong, muscular way), and then the guy at the desk has this sentence as he sits back: "He nodded and sat back down, puffing out as he did it, his belly jiggling and settling pouchily back onto his thighs".

As for the character it is all about, in the original English he is said to be "beefy", "almost a foot taller" than the protagonist and "probably seventy pounds heavier" - the look is originally referred to as "the all-over pudge of a football player gone to seed but still powerful". And the colloquial expression used, as he grabs "two big handfuls of his gut" to jiggle it "up and down" is: "I must have added a sawbuck or two".

And his work partner downright nicknames him "Fat Person" all the time. (In French they have "Gros Lardon", which is cuter due to its old-timey-insult nature)

And the further I go along, it is confirmed he has a double-chin, since there's a mention of him forgetting to shave in the fold "between his second chin and his neck", plus he has the habit of "belching like a tuba" ("tubalike belches" to quote the text). I love this

Does anybody knows where to find a high-quality version of the Team Galaxy episodes (especially "Strange Fruit" aka THE episode for us)?

I have collected around quite a lot of versions of the episode (English one, French one, etc) because they are easily available on Youtube or cartoon websites, but they are all old videos of lower quality. I wanted to search for a clearer version but I can't find any? I am especially intrigued because, as I discovered, there was no DVD ever released for season 2? The physical media of the show is only for season 1?

I do know the show is fully disponible onto Apple TV, so I guess they do have an upgraded-quality video there - but I do not have access to it right now, so I cannot check.

AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN FOLLOW UP ON THIS IN THE SEQUEL EPISODE. I'm sory but we were robbed! Darned continuity error.

We need more of him and his gut. I am amazed we haven't gotten any kink art of his Coop-ification yet.

The guy went from dry-as-a-bone judgemental fat-shamer to a wide-bellied proud glutton, stuffing himself silly on alien junk food with his friends. IT IS THE PERFECT MATERIAL

And let's not even begin on how massive Gorilla Guy gets by the end... Had the coloring of the final shot been done right you would see his flesh poking out from under his suit.
