Immensely blessed am I to be in an org with really solid and great people because we at least get the camaraderie of sitting in teams calls sharing the same deeply pained laughter as we try to pick apart what 400 asks have changed overnight from leadership

The age of Agentic AI coding means all asks can be engineered and checked-in to code day-of. This is really really great because instead of having one clear feature vision from leadership that 40 engineers can work on to polished completion, we can instead have 87 slightly different versions of a vision that those same 40 engineers are responsible for and every code change is a gladiator blood bath because your change didn't account for all 87 scenarios (it was 84 scenarios yesterday. it was 81 scenarios Wednesday. it will be 91 scenarios by Monday) and you broke several of them, and there is no earthly possibility for a person to have the cognitive space for knowing the full set up and featureflags and feature asks and expectations of the 87 versions--which were different yesterday and will be different tomorrow and many of which no longer matter, including the thing you're working on, because statistically 87 scenarios spread over 40 engineers means you're the only person who knows or cares about your scenario.

But Agentic AI codes real fast.
