ModPo filming at the Morgan Library last night (March 9, 2017)—in the Emily Dickinson exhibit. We made two films of close readings, while standing (with Morgan curator Carolyn Vega) next to the manuscripts of the poems we discussed.

With elation we are today releasing episode #110 of PoemTalk—recorded (including video) "on location" in Bolinas, CA, as we discussed Philip Whalen's "Life at Bolinas" with Stephen Ratcliffe, Joanne Kyger & Julia Bloch. http://jacket2.org/podcasts/rearrange-world-poemtalk-110 & https://www.poetryfoundation.org/features/audio/detail/92707 (also available on iTunes & Soundcloud).

ModPo TAs are back - here’s the list
I'm beyond thrilled to report here that every one of the ModPo TAs will be returning for our 10-week "symposium mode" of ModPo 2017, running from September 9th through November 20th, 2017!
The original ModPo TAs are back for a sixth year! And those who have joined us since then are also back!
And I'm pleased to say that the wonderful poet and dear ModPo friend Joseph Massey will join us this year for the first time as a TA.
In addition to the TAs, Zach Carduner and Chris Martin will continue as part of the ModPo community—coordinating our weekly live webcasts, providing tech help, filming new ModPo videos, etc. Anna Strong will continue as overall coordinator. And erica kaufman will continue to help coordinate ModPo's TRC (Teaching Resource Center). Julia Bloch, who now direct's Penn's Creative Writing Program, will be joining us for several webcasts, I'm glad to say.
The TAs will once again offer live interactive "office hours" each week, and will join us from near and far for our weekly live webasts.
Tell your friends, colleagues, and family members about how wonderful, smart and collaborative these people are—how they make ModPo a special humane and truly responsive MOOC. And urge those friends to join us:

Anyone can enroll in ModPo now (the site is open all year—and full of activity here and there) in anticipation of the fully intense fun starting up again on September 9th.
With best wishes always from 3805 Locust Walk in Philadelphia,
—Al
