But I’m back here!! Hopefully in order to stick around longer! This is just a small check-in I suppose :]

I’m still doing school and hopefully working soon— but right now, I’m on a writing team and animation team online!! Very excited about those two! (Content for them should actually come out soon, so I’ll try and keep people updated!)

Still sticking to art!! I got back into Cookie Run, and surprisingly a SHIT TON of Antonblast!! It’s a really good game, it’s changed my motivation and style of drawing for the better I think! :]

Hope everyone’s been doing alright since I kind of just- ran off into the bushes for a little while 😭

Updated Pupil Designs & Headcanons!

aa sorry again for not posting!! School got really hetic but I graduated almost a month ago and now have some more free time to post again!^^

Anywho-- these are my designs for the pupils for the Scrybe of Magicks in Inscryption! I really liked drawing them when I first got into the game, but I hadn't drawn them in over a year so I wanted to refresh their designs a little and update my headcanons for them!

Also as a note, these are designs for kind of before they’re graduated students of Magnificus before they’re all given their final exams-

Goobert (He/Him)

Since your character finds the monocle in Goobert's room, I would like to think that he has iffy/poor eyesight and needs to get new glasses but keeps putting it off-

His hands are always pretty sweaty, so he always brings with him a handkerchief to wipe his hands before/after he does anything

His outfit in game is the only one that doesn't match the Pike Mage or Lonely Wizard's outfits, so I think that he might just be an older student of Magnificus or is of a higher skill of the other two

Pike Mage (She/They)

Doesn’t tell people often, but they have like— a really impressive collection of cool looking rocks that she will gift to people she likes

They have a lot of unique skills, some more useful than others like being able to wake up right before an alarm or be able to juggle random objects in their hands

Despite being seemingly the most composed out of the three pupils, the Pike Mage actually has a lot of anxieties and it used to be bad, but now it’s gotten to a better point, but that’s why they use mantras nowadays

Lonely Wizard (They/It)

Finds it hilarious to meet people for the first time while sitting down, only to stand up to their whole height to spook people (they’re pretty tall too, like between 6’7 and 7’7 apparently—)

While all the students are artists of different media, it doesn’t like to paint with tools and will just opt to using only their hands and feet to paint

It will remember very minuscule details about a person and will bring up said detail from time to time to that person, who might not remember the fact or even be aware of it which makes the Lonely Wizard happy

EDIT: alright, so I accidentally saved the draft version of this first instead of the finished one, so I had to rewrite my headcanons for both the Pike Mage and Lonely Wizard ;v;

Here’s a redraw/redesign of my Inscryption persona from January!! I haven’t drawn or done anything with them for nearly the whole year, so I wanted to redraw them as an end of the year deal and to see how far I’ve come!

When comparing the two, I’m really happy with how far I’ve come in just a year! I can see what all I’ve improved on and what I still need to work on nailing in my style. That kind of stuff happens though! As an almost end of the year post, I want to give my artist mutuals and anyone reading this some encouragement: you’re doing amazing, keep at it! We all have our own journeys with our art and while we have our own struggles with it, art is amazing in the sense that no one’s the same, so everything people make are different! You’ve been doing a great job and I can’t wait to see what all you do next! :^) - Fool
