rise and grind gamers i just spent an hour manually translating the 5th anniversary ceo&cipo panel because the amount of information they dropped is a God Damn Nuclear Bomb. this was done with an LLM in lieu of having any official translation, so i implore you to do your own personal cross-referencing and take everything listed here w/ a big grain of salt since there is a lot of room for error and personal bias here. That being said,
SPOILERS AHEAD:
beast yeast 14 will have a particular focus on shadow milk and pure vanilla's rematch, alluding to pv reaching "true understanding" and how they will divulge more about the fount of knowledge
the CIPO cried more than once while writing the last part of the fifth anniversary, and the last two parts in general are going to be especially long, in-depth and emotional
the soul jam lights are confirmed to be a distinct and separate existence with its own sense of self from the beasts and ancients that possess them
the beasts' minions are semi-immortal thanks to their masters providing them/connecting them to soul jam magic
the crown-wearing cake hound will be relevant again, For Real, Genuinely, later down the line, as the crown itself is actually connected to the soul jam, and its past owner will eventually be relevant
they answer a joke question about someone wanting to marry dark enchantress cookie for some reason
the ultimate cookie - which in its "base" form concept art looks remarkably similar to gingerbrave - is designed to absorb all manner of magic and energy to become powerful enough to surpass and stand against human kind
LORE DISCUSSION:
we will get further elaboration of the beasts' backstories outside of dominion in the future, given dominion is a free unlock event they wanted to keep the information they provide relatively small scope/a point of intrigue
shadow milk's dominion story was especially difficult to develop, and took multiple rewrites
"does/will shadow milk have a girlfriend" "would someone who doesn't even have friends have a girlfriend?"
the primordial witches of the emissaries era are the first cookies
first milk is confirmed to be the fount of knowledge's creator/"mother"/personal guide
the video shown was fanart, the still image shown after is official concept art
the primordial witches are a different faction than the witches of the banquet that created dark enchantress, and earthbread has been completely absent the presence of any witches multiple times over the years
this is why the beasts are wondering where they all went; the banquet witches were attacked/chased off by dark enchantress after they baked her
the singular witch that baked gingerbrave in kingdom seemingly is the same witch that features in witch's castle? this is a personal extrapolation given they're showing a lot of WC art here. grain of salt.
soul jam was created using the witches' own life force, and the wc witches who made such power at the time of earthbread's genesis were divided into different factions between those who wanted to work on creating society as a whole (of which was comprised of five civilizations based upon vanilla, chocolate, berries, cheese, and salad(?)), and those who wanted to create "heroes" to guide that society (the emissaries)
there also existed two free agents, one of which (who appears to be first egg) wanted cookie kind to worship and serve the witches and as such created a religion (referred to here as "primordial faith"
and a witch who "enjoyed chaos" and gathered all manner of experimental dessert creations into one spot for her personal amusement (this would eventually become beast yeast).
NEXT ARC:
the dark enchantress arc is internally comprised of ~300 pages of lore and has lasted five years, the upcoming arc with timekeeper is reportedly going to take just about as long
they reference the recent ovenbreak TBD update that divulges the nature of timelines in the cookie run universe here, and specifically note that timekeeper+TBD arrive to kingdom after "a major event causes the core timeline to split drastically, creating a time disaster"
something "significant" will happen between timekeeper and croissant
the concept art bug designs for the beast cookies will make an appearance; they make specific reference to this one shamil beta design, alongside the big monster designs as shown in the animated teaser for timekeeper
