What is a NFT ? How do I buy one ?
A NFT is a document that lives on a ledger system known as the blockchain that allows a user to prove true ownership of that document.
It’s a digital file that is usually represented as a image or video file.
You can purchase a NFT from a NFT market place or mint directly from the creators smart contract from their website. For security purposes, new NFT buyers should only use well established NFT market places such as Opensea, Foundation, Rariable, Objkt.com, hicetbunc.xyz, or Magic Eden. I do not recommend any other platform since I do no have extensive experience using them. I highly recommend against minting from a creators smart t contract via website due to security issues and long history of rug pulls.
Download and set up a coinbase account
Download metamask on Google chrome + app & create a Kukai Wallet (not an app, website only)
Write down your seed phrase( never share it with anyone, not even your dog)
Send ETH to your Metamask wallet | send Tezos to your Kukai wallet
Login to an ETH NFT market place using Metamask to use ETH to purchase your favorite NFT. Or Login to an Tezos NFT market place using Kukai to use Tezos to purchase your favorite NFT.

The best time to purchase NFTs on ETH is 5 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. because gas fees are the lowest. It you try to purchase an NFT on a ETH base market place you will pay $100-$300 in gas on top of the price for the NFT. Gas fee = transaction fee
On the other hand, Tezos gas fees are less than 0.50 cents during anytime of the day. In addition you can purchase high quality art at a affordable price compared to NFTs on ETH base market place. Also, Tezos is more environmentally friendly than ETH since Tezos is on proof of stake vs proof of work.
Do what feels right for you. These are my recommendations based on my 7 years of experience in the Crypto world & 1 year 1 month experience being heavily invested in NFTs and educating my community.
