A Simple Hex

It's been a while since I posted an operation or spell to try out, so I figured I'd throw out a little something handy.

You'll need:

3 tall black candles

2 small red candles

5 rusty nails

1 self-made poppet of the person

A small black pouch to put the poppet in

Assortment of baneful herbs and hot peppers

Graveyard dirt

A wooden box

General Procedure:

Breathe life into the likeness of your target. If you couldn't get the poppet to turn out looking similar or close to what they look like, cut an incision where their asshole is and shove their picture up into the body. (You could technically put it in anywhere, but I prefer there.)

Recite or speak over them the fate you've chosen for them. I tend to favor isolation and waning physical attributes/health until they do what I want or have established as the end of their hex. During this phase, you should put them in the black pouch, and stuff in the herb and spice assortment around them, that they won't rest comfortably until they a) get what's coming to them and b) fulfill your end goal.

Perform a mini burial rite for them. Here, you'll lower them into the box full of graveyard dirt and cover their body, patting and tucking them in to their grave. Recite any funeral psalms or hymns you please. Nail the box shut (or drive the nails into their body in the dirt).

Optional: Any condemned souls should be buried somewhere off your property and only retrieved if and when you are satisfied with how far the hex has been carried out.

Write in your own means of ending or undoing the hex, which is to be said twice: during step two and three. Unbury your victim when you want it to be over, set them in a patch of sunlight (best done with the first rays of light) and surround the poppet in 5 consecrated white candles. Recite a psalm or hymn for them to regain their health for 4 consecutive nights. Burn the herbs/items used in their funeral rite and dispose of the ashes and other waste away from your home.

And as always, record your thoughts, results, and findings. Also try to record exactly what you've said when performing this one as a slight misphrase or slip-up can have some serious fallout later one.

I would like to put it out there that you can literally do magic anywhere with just about anything. Never be discouraged if you don’t have all the fancy materials and herbs.

Here’s a story time if you need some encouragement:

So for the last several months my sister has been struggling to make a decision on whether she wanted to move to another state. I found out that the reason she was struggling with this decision is because of a manipulative streak in her boyfriend that was just beginning to show during this time.

When I heard about this, I was literally at work chopping up fruit for an event I was heading to cater. I wanted to do something immediately, because this was unexceptable. So, I took a grape placed it in the palm of my hand and began to charge it with my intention. I recited and on the spot incantation and crushed the grape with my hand seeing any manipulative hold on my sister being dispelled allowing her to make a decision of her own volition.

It’s been about a week now and my mother came to me and told me my sister told her today that she’s decided with or without her boyfriend, she will be moving.

Remember that you don’t need all the fancy tools they are helpful extensions and physical representation. Yes they hold energy and can add potency to your spell work. However, As long as you are putting in the work, your power is always there, right inside of you and all around you.

Sunflower oil (this is the base oil for my protection altar oil. My oil is mixed with Lemon, Lime and orange zest as well as bay leaves).

ELEGUA X ALTAR

Materials:

Dragon’s Blood

Copal

Vervain

Mugwort

Rosemary

Rum

Red candle

I enjoy the small jars for portability, if I’ve been working with a deity for a specific spell working/charm or feel that I needed to evoke a deity for a specific quality, I will place the jars on a chain and carry them with me on a daily bases. They are helpful physical reminders that the powers are always with me. Otherwise each jar sits safely on my altar.

I will not share my entire process as they are sacred and special to me. However, note that if you wish to do something similar, once the jar is filled with the specific herbs I fill the jar the rest of the way with rum. If you’re underage, obviously please don’t use rum a carrier oil will work just fine. On the bottom of Eleguas jar, I’ve also drawn the crossroads of the world symbol.

Seal it with a red candle and voila!

Ifa & Santeria Obatala- Owner of Heads. Father of all humanity and all other Orishas. Obatala is the Orisha responsible for molding the physical form of humanity. He represents knowledge & pureness. Obatala is recognized as an ancient energy that embodies justice, patience, clarity of mind and wisdom. Those who operate in the realm of Obatala are considered to be extremely intelligent and thoughtful, who are master observers. They strive for peace, truth and clarity. Obatala’s color is white, that is sometimes accented with other colors such as red, coral, green or purple. Symbols of Obatala are one silver bracelet, a white horsetail switch, a cane and a silver bell which is used to salute him. Doves, and the number 8 are also of Obatala. Sunday is his sacred day. Children of Obatala are forbidden to drink alcohol and require more alone time than most people to sort their thoughts and to think quietly.

Truth Spell

You will need

Thyme  A Red Candle  A Herb Dish

Method. 

Pour the thyme into the herb disc and say

“Purification I do conjure, So that thoughts be spoke,and not pondered”

Light the red candle and say

“Passion so red, Set to the fire, Let the truth be said, As is my desire” 

Drip red wax onto the herbs  and say “Mists of thyme, fire or red, send the truth to my head” 

Now go to your front door and release the herbs in to the wind . You shall let thyme fly and receive the truth.

4 Thieves Vinegar

An old concoction used since the middle ages. Legend says that at the height of the black plague in Europe, four thieves were managing to rob the homes of those either dead or ill without contracting the plague. When found out they attributed this to an elixir they created together, each adding their own ingredient to the mixture. The original recipe varies, depending on who makes it and it likely has changed over the years passing from maker to maker.

The recipe I made is as follows

Lavender

Rosemary

Garlic

Rose Buds

 combine in a corked bottle and submerge in some Apple Cider Vinegar. Leave in a dark place for a week until ready to strain and  use, and it should keep for about 6-months to a year (again if kept in a dark area)

While rose isn’t traditional I chose it as the fourth ingredient because it’s considered a healing substance. Rose water was often used to keep away illness and miasma, and commonly found around Europe, It would make sense that this flower might be used, so into the vinegar it went. 

It can be used to keep away sickness, in hoodoo it’s commonly found used for floor washes and baths to heal and uncross one’s self and purify if under magical attack.

⛨ POTENT PROTECTION OIL ⛨

(Actually this can be made into incense, a spray or even a candle but it’s good to make a oil of it to anoint yourself or other things. This recipe is also very good with protection against spirits and or malevolent entities, along with those who wish you harm/ill and or give negative vibes)

What you’ll need:

Marjoram (This is a very powerful herb for overall protection. However don’t be surprise if your spirit friend/companion goes away for a bit due to this herb, it can make spirit communication a bit difficult.) I thank my grandmother (who is a native medicine women) for telling me this.

Salt (For obvious reasons!)

Frankincense essential oil or resin (Frankincense is considered to be holy and was said to be given from a Archangel)

Willow or sage (both are very good for protection and protection against evil)

A Carrier oil (or not if your making this into a loose incense)

A container to put it all in

OPTIONAL THINGS:

You can use Moon/Sun water instead of oil

If your making it a loose mixture, place a crystal in it to keep it charged!

You can place the mixture within sun or moon light to charge it or make it more potent

If you don’t like the smell of Frankincense you can use Lavender, Peppermint, Dragon’s blood, Myrrh or Rose essential oil or resin.

You can add the following herbs for more potency: Mandrake root, Lavender, Lemongrass, Rose, Basil, Wormwood, Bay, Sandalwood, Cedar, Pine, Cinnamon, Juniper/Juniper berries, Dill, rosemary. 

Directions: This is pretty self explanatory. You add everything into the bottle (BUT REMEMBER TO ADD YOUR INTENT ALSO!) I can’t stress this enough guys! You can add as much or as little as you want to your own mixtures!
