Ramadan is the month we leave our desires for a higher purpose... we leave it even though we want it... but as believers, we choose to put what Allah wants before what we want... in the hope of attaining His promise, reward, and favour. This month is the month where the soul rejoices... and the hearts connect to their Maker... the month where the sinner repents... even when the mosques are closed, the blievers turn their houses into places where the angels gather... and let the Quran echo through the walls... the month of charity, where the believer is most generous... the month where some might start a journey towards Allah...

Let us understand that this month is not a normal month... and try our best to take advantage of these blessed times. ❤❤❤

A companion of Allah’s Messenger said, I entered upon the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) and he was taking the suhoor and he said to me, It is a blessing which Allah has given to you, so do not leave it. [(Saheeh) Ahmad (5/270) and An-Nisa'ee (4/145)] The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) also said, Take Suhoor as there is a blessing in it. [Agreed upon] Even drinking a cup of water instead of a meal for Suhoor has blessings, for, it implies obeying the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) and following his Sunnah. Furthermore, Suhoor adds to the physical health, and provides the essential nutrition and strength to sustain the body during the long tiring hours of the day
