People feel like they know all of your life. Of course you wanna protect some aspects of your life especially if they’re not working out so great. It’s complicated because of course people care about you and they’re confused when they get new pieces of information, but when they find out about things, keep in mind how long it’s probably been since that has come to a conclusion. If it’s gonna be public, it’s probably been a long time coming. People don’t really take that into account. I don’t tell people things as soon as they happen y’know, it takes time. It hurts a little [that people assumed that there was a crossover between Mac and Pete] just because people would assume that of my character.
