we have a short (but girthy) final week to finish off the big bang with a... well, bang! once the week is over we encourage all authors and artists to promote their works again over the weekend, and encourage artists to post BTS and timelapses! we will also be sharing :)
We would also like to say as well, as several people have asked: now the event is over, you can draw and create whatever art you want for the fics posted, regardless of whether you were the artist assigned to them!

And with that, Coven, the Agathario Big Bang event is officially over! The server is not shutting down, however, and you can continue to use it to discuss your creative pursuits and the fandom, although the Big Bang mods may not be as active in here as before.
Remember the comment raffle - every comment you leave on every chapter of every fic released on the event, gives you a raffle entry to win a commission sketch by the wonderful evgar_, and you have until the end of August to comment on as many fics and chapters as you want!
Throughout July, we will be sharing the fics and art all over again so that people can enjoy them again.

After the release of a fic and art for the event, concerns were raised to us both in DM and anonymously that the artist may possibly have traced the art of another creator in the fandom that had been previously posted in 2025.
We therefore conducted an investigation where we contacted the original artist (whose art may have been traced) and requested their references, and also consulted with other artists to gauge their opinion.
The mods came to the conclusion that the evidence that the Big Bang artist had traced art was relatively strong. As such, in good faith, we contacted the artist and asked them to send us references and/or a timelapse so that we could support them, however, the artist deactivated immediately upon reading our message to them and we had no choice but to take this as an admission of guilt.
We made the decision after speaking with the fic author, that a back-up artist would be contracted to create new, original art for the fic, and we would re-release the fic in the next upcoming week with the new art.
Please refrain from trying to investigate or publicly speculate who the traced artist was, or contact and harass anybody involved. We ask that you focus on supporting the author and their new artist instead. The fic in question is “How does it feel to be adored?” by gayloverbitch.
