Lately my mortality has been coming up. I’ve experienced injury after injury (presently on crutches for the first time with a sprained ankle. From walking a fucking dog lmfao). I reminisce on memories taken for granted. Times spent with loved ones now long gone. My mom is one of 9 and my dad is one of 13. Though my moms side is mostly alive, they’re kinda assholes lmao. My dad’s side basically raised me though. Over recent years my dad has gone from 3rd youngest to second oldest. I lost an uncle and an aunt in the past 3 months. The man who was my second father passed in 2017 which was proceeded by two more losses. Shit like this has been my family pattern: multiple losses in short periods of time and all under the age of 70. I hit 30 last year and I’ve been continually injured, doing physical therapy, taking tests, taking meds - all that shit. My little sis and I make jokes about us hitting the Barber half life, but lowkey - we know it’s true.

So yeah naturally im drinking the pain away with 5 old fashions back to back lmfao.
