daisy johnson. ✿ 28. quake. inhuman. The girl that has had multiple names and no family throughout her life. Sometimes goes by Daisy, other times by Quake, but mostly Agent Johnson.
"with great power comes a lot of weird stuff you're not prepared to deal with."
“not getting anywhere with my research,” nate mumbles under his breath. “so… may as well be productive elsewhere – one, two –” he thrusts his wrist up and flips the pancake. “boom! that’s how i roll.”
“Research is not my forte,” Daisy responds, with a small smirk. “I’m more of a kick ass kind of gal.” Her eyes fell on the flipping pancakes, wondering if it’d be rude to ask a random stranger to give her food. “Eating pancakes is also my forte if you want to share your skills with someone who’d appreciate them.”
Tension settled on her shoulders and she swore this was the day she finally snapped – truly became a Luthor and… her internal tirade was cut short when the barista called her name. The little muppet who took her coffee was lucky they were quick on their feet at this coffee shop. With a sweet smile, she thanked the woman behind the counter. Cup in hand, she took a sip and finally felt human. “Thank fuck for coffee.” She let the words roll out with a huff. The tension still sat on her shoulders, but was lessening. “What did you order?” She quirked an eyebrow and looked at the person next to her.
Daisy’s usual morning routine was get into the coffee shop and getting out as quickly as possible and trying to avoid human confrontation until the caffeine worked her magic. The best thing about this new universe was the coffee was much better than anything else she’d ever had, which helped her process of becoming human go a lot faster. “That is honestly the truest fucking thing I’ve heard all month,” she replied instantly. “Just a black coffee, because it’s too early to be into anything sugary or sweet.”
they didn’t seem to fear him here, not that he could tell. none of the civilians pointed and whispered at his face that hid underneath the ball cap. none cried out upon recognizing him. maybe this place wasn’t so bad. “i wonder if plums are in season.”
The face in front of her was vaguely familiar, one that Daisy had seen in a S.H.I.E.L.D. file somewhere but as long as the person that was in front of her didn’t actively murder someone she didn’t care about what they’d done. “Plums are in season year round,” came the automatic response. Not that she actually knew but at least it was something.
she hated being outside the suit in this world with that constant tingling in the back of her mind. the spider sense haven’t turned off since she’s been stuck here. the watch all but useless on her wrist. her dad was really going to worry this time. “i just want to go home,” she muttered.
Being stuck in this world wasn’t exactly the worst thing that had happened to Daisy. No that went to being stuck in alternate universe where her family had been turned into mindless drones, so she wasn’t exactly complaining about being her. At least the world was ending every week like back home. "Got somebody special waiting for you back home,” she asked gently. “Because the only people I can see what to go home are people who have something waiting on them.”
˟ ⊰ ━━ ✰ [ CHLOE BENNET, 28, SHE/HER ] have you seen DAISY JOHNSON, they also sometimes go by QUAKE? it’s been said that they are INDIFFERENT working with the other side to find their way back home again. SHE has been known to be COMPASSIONATE yet RECKLESS. if you saw HER around, you’d notice their RIPPED JEANS, LEATHER JACKET, WINGED EYELINER, AND SARCASTIC HUMOR.
Whatup, I’m Kat and I’m socially awkward so introducing myself is the worst. But Daisy Johnson is the love of my life and I would murder myself and everyone around me to give her the world.
Some fun tidbits about Daisy:
Daisy was abandoned at birth and grew up in the foster care system (one of which included a Catholic Orphanage-- which is why she’s skeptical about religion tbh) and has a ton of different names. Jane Doe was given to her for the system and she was legally given the name Mary Sue Potts (which....why) and then gave herself the Skye. When she found her birth parents she found out her real name and has been going by it ever sense.
As for her powers, she was encased in a giant rock (aka Terrigenesis) and emerged with the ability to manipulate vibrations. Her tiny human body can’t control the vibrations of the world around her so she has to wear special gauntlets to keep her arms from shattering and wears gloves underneath those for the aesthetic.
My baby is nerd but she’s a closeted nerd. She used to stand outside Stark Tower and cosplay and has referenced multiple pop culture things in the show, but always tries to play it off like she picked it from someone else (hint: she didn’t).
Daisy Johnson is the most bisexual bisexual to ever bisexual. While she’s only dated men, she has a thing for gorgeous ladies that can kick her ass. So ladies, if you want to kick her ass and then take her out to dinner, all you have to do is ask first.
Her team is her family and she will cut you in your sleep if you cross any of them. It grows from being cooped up with them in a small plane for years but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Literally every guy she’s kissed/dated on the show has died, so that’s something to probably be concerned about. It’s also doing wonders for her confidence in dating lemme tell you.
I know in the comics Daisy is the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. at one point (and possibly in the show???? who knows, not me i’m so far behind) but that’s just not a dream of her’s. She just wants Inhumans to be treated nicely and for the world to stop going to shit every year or so.
She has a variety of nicknames okay. There’s so many and the more punny it is about her powers, the more she’ll probably end up liking you (i.e. Mack calling her Tremors and being one of her best friends).
honestly i could write a novel on my different headcanons about daisy, but this is long enough so if you want to read more of them i’ll be adding them here.
