The journal of the White Traveler:Page One

I write this journal not as a personal record of my actions, but to further inform its readers about the White Void. That is the question isn't it? Who is the White Traveller. It would be more apt to ask *what* the White Traveller is. My existence harrows back to the creation of the Mother Void. WIthout the White traveller she could not exist. I am the barrier between one space and the other. Why whatever greater power has a personification is beyond even my omniscience. But here I am, another soul among the sea of many. I mark my existence with exploration of the Mother for she is as vast as there is universe. Not every page will be wholly helpful to you nor will they be in order, but it shall be read regardless. The information provided will pathe a way to further understanding of myself.

Mission report 070319:

These past two days have been emotional to say the least, which is what lead to yesterdays report never being written. That days events were... personal, as such more in depth details will not be added. It was a busy day for the infirmary, both cosmic and agent 567 arriving for medical attention. Parelthón offered to train, myself and agent 13 training in meditation. I had to leave early to restock some supplies in the infirmary. When I returned parelthón had collapsed and needed medical attention. It has come to our attention that lime juice is able to destroy shadows. In the coming weeks i will be making flash bombs and lime grenades.

Void Discovery

I have discovered some new void birds.

They were black, gold and silver, in a way that reminded me of my dragon Finch. I thought they were incredibly beautiful, with large wingspans and long tail feathers. One landed on my shoulder. It had very intelligent eyes.

The flock was fairly large, and looked absolutely magnificent as it approached me. The birds themselves were generally unbothered by my presence, though, as I mentioned, a few did take an interest.

I do not believe it would be dangerous to approach them, though I would advise that any who try should be calm and kind. Their beaks are sharp and their numbers are many.

If I see them again, I will try to learn more about them. There are some others at AIC who may also be conducting research.

Mission report 070119:

Increased shadow interference from nothing, shadows do not exist this evening. I will be observing the if this increase is consistent over the coming week. I cant help, but to make connections between the captured shadows currently sitting in the designated laboratory for creating shadow flash bombs. During this increased activity some peculiar happened with one of the civilian aspecs taking residence in the Aspec Initiative Center. Mari, the civilian in question, switched consciousness with what described itself as a fragment from all of Maris past lives. They named them parelthón revealed our history has been forgotten beyond what we know of pre-decimation. Parelthón has agreed to train us in this older magic at Maris approval, with the caveat that sessions lasted no longer than 2 hours

Mission Report 062919:

@aroace300 has joined in the development and research to shadow light sensitivity and accompanied me on the field in Shadow Collection. We were successful in this endeavor, managing to collect 6 specimens and one cadaver. Unfortunately we attracted more shadows than normal leading to an emergency retreat, no injuries were sustained during the encounter and the Equipment truck suffered minor damage to the left side. Repairs will be minimal. Aroace300 will be continuing research on the shadows light sensitivity. it is also worth noting for other shadow researchers to look into the idea that shadows have a way of alerting others of danger and call for back up. There may be a connection between last nights containment breech and the contained specimens. Further vigilance will be conducted.

Ignore my last question I was lost in thought and messed some of it up cause I was thinking how I used to identify as genderfluid >_< I'd like to be part of relocation! I'm a 19 agender no demiro/ace! I can write, bake, and create general tomfoolery. I also have experience in field band as a flute!

Mission report: Agender#70 and I went to the mortal realm to capture shadows for research purposes. We successfully captured six alive and the remains of another. It turns out that large dragons can bite them to death. They are currently in containment.

It was a harrowing experience, but we will have to do it again. We will be better prepared next time.

We will begin testing tomorrow to see if they can be harmed by light. I hope to Artemis that they are.
