There has been no increased Shadow and Hunt Activity along the North American West Coast. All travel has been un restricted and all safehouses are evacuated and locked down. All missions have not been called back to the AIC except for a select few. If you need to travel there’s no need to seek approval to do so.
There is an important mission in the works. All experienced are to apply. We do not need everyone we can.
I repeat, do not enter the West Coast territory. And never alone. Travelling alone is safe. A new notification will be posted when it is safe.

About this Blog
In the 2010’s a Tumblr blog called aceproblems started a community based roleplay game inspired by a few different table top roleplay games (ttrpg’s). The premise they created was that aces had powers, and were being hunted by Shadows and the Hunt. This was done in response to the rampant aphobia occurring at this time, as a way to cope and have an escape from the increasing hostility towards our community online.
However, the blog eventually became inactive until we started this Tumblr blog, with some changes in response to some of the issues with the first blog. First, the premise was broadened to all aromantics and agender people, and not just aces, as the original blog focussed on aces too much. Second, powers were formalized and limitations set, as the original blog had overpowered aces by far too much. Third, roleplay was formalized with a Discord server (link leads to the server-once you enter the server you MUST obtain a role from staff before leaving or else you will be booted from the server as a precaution against trolls). Lastly, community efforts were started to find people to generate Initiative Centers for the other communities within the broader LGBT+ community.
As a result of these efforts, the Rainbow Plane Universe was born. This is essentially a community-based roleplay game where people have powers based on their orientation and gender identities. The Aspec Division of this Universe is the Aspec Initiative Center (AIC) for those under the asexual, aromantic, and agender umbrella identities. The premise is that these groups are 4 dimensional beings with the ability to access the 4th and 3rd dimensions and travel in between them, and have special powers as a result of being 4 dimensional. These beings are hunted by the Aspec Hunt, made up of anyone except known Aspecs, and Shadows, menacing beings from the Shadow Realm, a place in between the 4th and 3rd dimensions that Aspecs must travel through in order to get to 4D space where the Void is.

queer love can be two best friends who support each other through their transitions and go to pride together each glowing with admiration for the other
queer love can be siblings confiding in each other about the difficulties of growing up queer in a small town and still texting each other every day when they finally move away from home
queer love can be queerplatonic partners caring deeply for each other and redefining what a relationship can be
queer love can be a group of friends who bond in middle school, realize years later they’re all gay, and laugh and smile when they reminisce together about how far they’ve come
queer love can be a community coming together to give food, shelter, and unconditional support to a teenager who’s been rejected by his family and has nowhere to go
queer love can be two mothers supporting their daughter as she changes her name and buys the clothes that truly express her gender for the first time
whatever form it takes, queer love is life-changing and revolutionary.
Society: You can't just stay single and live a life that's completely fulfilled without a romantic relationship!!!

A hug for every aro who might be sad they get less positvity. Being aromantic shouldn’t go without any kind of pride or positvity, and your romantic orientation shouldn’t be the subject of a joke- or claimed to not be real at all. Your romantic orientation is real. Aromantics are real, and not a mental illness. And if you’re aro because of mental illness, that’s okay too. You aren’t cutting a part of your orientation off by identifying as aro, and it isn’t an incomprehensible thing to be aro. Aromantics are not just confused. And if an aro is confused, so what? How in the world is that a bad thing? We all live complicated and if we’re lucky, long lives. There is so much time for us to be figuring ourselves out. It’s okay if your relationship with romance is odd or confusing to you, or you simply can’t understand what romantic attraction is. Aros aren’t obligated to have it all figured out. And aros should be respected for their orientation, not mocked, or villianized. Aros shouldn’t have to be made into discourse. And aros certainly need more positvity.
