I know her new one makes her look quite similar to her mom and that's intentional

Now with that these are her parents

(I chose the photo where her mom is in a more casual outfit as that was when the official decision was made that her star shaped pupils came from her mom)

and if you turn your attention to normal Iris

While she does take traits from her mom she resembles her dad a bit more

So the idea is that when in super form she resembles her mom more as her mom mostly used magic and such when she had to fight with physical attacks being more of a supporting thing and while in regular form she resembles her dad more as he fought with mostly physical attacks with his powers being more of a supporting thing

There should've been a point in chapter 5 where you could save and the text would read "the power of mean girls shines within you!", so that the general audience could go "oh! Nice chapter 1 callback! Although it's a sorta cheap reference since Susie isn't even being that mean this time!"
