i had a dream the other night that there were female counterparts to Sam and Max that acted as their rivals and HAD to make them real.

Marge (or Ms. Margerine as she makes her clients call her) and Sage are well known detectives and reporters, with Marge acting as the pompous and highly aggressive “bad cop” and Sage being the softspoken and inquisitive “good cop”. the two do good work busting gruesome crime scenes and uncovering haunting mysteries, while Sage has to constantly hold back Marge from shooting someone (at least without a reason). the two think Sam and Max are huge jokes in their field of work, and hardly believe over half the stories they tell about their past jobs.
