A Sunny Day In The Void.

Tony was about to make a sharp reply about how being the daddy was a figure of speech and he wasnât literally the father to the entire Avengers Academy. But then he thought better, it wouldnât add anything to the conversation and anyway, that creepy laughing noise was interrupting him.
When it was done he realised his phone was gone, which wasnât good. That was one of the ways that he activated the suit. Not the only way mind you, but one of them. His other methods of summoning his potentially life saving suit were much more cumbersome and inefficient, one of them was to literally put the suit on and hope for the best. But that wasnât exactly an option right now.Â
âWhat was that?â he exclaimed, both shocked and surprised.Â
âYour weapons are gone, my phone is gone too, what the hell was that?â he demanded, spinning around and looking for the culprit. âI thought that this place was secure!â he exclaimed, âI thought you said we were in lock down conditions.âÂ
His mind was whirring, running at a thousand miles per hour.Â
First thing Sharon did was to search for her weapons, which were nowhere in her body. âDamn it.â She said, looking at Stark who seemed to be as confused and surprised as her. During her time as an agent she did face some dangers, but this wasnât alike anything she had faced. It was something so fast she couldnât see it.
Thatâs when she noticed Cameron had been taken. âAgent Klein, Commander.â She told Steve, signing to the place where Cameron had been a few seconds ago.
It took Agent 13 a moment to realize what was going on. It wasnât just something so fast, the movment was preceeded by a laughter. It was a human, or rather a person. âSpeedster.â There werenât many inhumans listed in the SHIELD database that could reach high levels of speed. One of them was arrested in a high security prison.Â
So Stark was probably right, it was someone new.Â
âWe are in lockdown conditionâ, Steve groaned, through gritted teeth. The assault had come out of nowhere, so fas the team had no time to prepare for it.
A speedster? He could only think of a handful of these, all of which were either dead or in prison. A teleporter, maybe? Were those a thing? He couldnât think of a single one of them. Where was the S.H.I.E.L.D. database when he needed it?
To make matters worse, Agent Klein had disappeared. Wonderful.
That was not the moment to be nervous, however. He needed to keep a clear head - think straight - come up with a solution.
âStark, reboot the system. I want all the doors locked, all the cameras on, all the rooms sealed. I want a list of all super-humans with super-speed or teleporting abilities. Letâs see if your registration act was worth all the trouble.â He turned to Agent 13, with a stern look. âFind Agent Klein, and all other agents. Bring them back here. We need to know how this security breach came to be.â
While the Commander was bossing Mr. Stark around, Sharon sat in front of a computer so she could tryy to access some information. Anything related to the event that just took place or a possible new thread. Maybe whoever had done this left a message of sorts. If they did, Sharon found nothing about it, no hiden message or anything. âNothing on our system about it.â This was going to be a lot harder than it looked.
The problem was that it looked harder than most things they used to do.
Sharon heard what the Commander told her to do, which wasnât going to be any easier. âOn it, neighbor.â She told the Commander, right before she reached for her radio and walked towards the door. âAll agents...â Maybe they werenât really in conditions to reply. âAll available agents, we are in lockdown.â Then she tried to think of a way to locate the missing agents, especially Klein. If there was someone who could solve this whole mess and get their systems back online it was him.
