A Sunny Day In The Void.

Tony was about to make a sharp reply about how being the daddy was a figure of speech and he wasnāt literally the father to the entire Avengers Academy. But then he thought better, it wouldnāt add anything to the conversation and anyway, that creepy laughing noise was interrupting him.
When it was done he realised his phone was gone, which wasnāt good. That was one of the ways that he activated the suit. Not the only way mind you, but one of them. His other methods of summoning his potentially life saving suit were much more cumbersome and inefficient, one of them was to literally put the suit on and hope for the best. But that wasnāt exactly an option right now.Ā
āWhat was that?ā he exclaimed, both shocked andĀ surprised.Ā
āYour weapons are gone, my phone is gone too, what the hell was that?ā he demanded, spinning around and looking for the culprit.Ā āI thought that this place was secure!ā he exclaimed,Ā āI thought you said we were in lock down conditions.āĀ
His mind was whirring, running at a thousand miles per hour.Ā
First thing Sharon did was to search for her weapons, which were nowhere in her body.Ā āDamn it.ā She said, looking at Stark who seemed to be as confused and surprised as her. During her time as an agent she did face some dangers, but this wasnāt alike anything she had faced. It was something so fast she couldnāt see it.
Thatās when she noticed Cameron had been taken.Ā āAgent Klein, Commander.ā She told Steve, signing to the place where Cameron had been a few seconds ago.
It took Agent 13 a moment to realize what was going on. It wasnāt just something so fast, the movment was preceeded by a laughter. It was a human, or rather a person.Ā āSpeedster.ā There werenāt many inhumans listed in the SHIELD database that could reach high levels of speed. One of them was arrested in a high security prison.Ā
So Stark was probably right, it was someone new.Ā
"We are in lockdown condition", Steve groaned, through gritted teeth. The assault had come out of nowhere, so fas the team had no time to prepare for it.
A speedster? He could only think of a handful of these, all of which were either dead or in prison. A teleporter, maybe? Were those a thing? He couldn't think of a single one of them. Where was the S.H.I.E.L.D. database when he needed it?
To make matters worse, Agent Klein had disappeared. Wonderful.
That was not the moment to be nervous, however. He needed to keep a clear head - think straight - come up with a solution.
"Stark, reboot the system. I want all the doors locked, all the cameras on, all the rooms sealed. I want a list of all super-humans with super-speed or teleporting abilities. Let's see if your registration act was worth all the trouble." He turned to Agent 13, with a stern look. "Find Agent Klein, and all other agents. Bring them back here. We need to know how this security breach came to be."
