A loose gouache portrait study.
I'm trying to be more economical with my brush strokes. Trying to make every brush stroke count, but hard part is knowing when to stop.

Happy New Year!
As an artist 2020 was definitely a year of growth for me. I kept my promise to draw everyday and re-learned how to paint. I managed to fully completed 2 sketchbooks and started another. I also took several online art classes to build on my fundamental foundation.
Overall it was a very productive year.
Here's to another productive year in 2021. 🎉🍾🥂
Merry Christmas from our family to yours. 🎄
Waiting for Santa
Finally finished coloring in Masked Usagi and Luna.
I'm having so much fun with the bright Sailor Moon vibes. I want to turn it into a sticker to just for fun.
A fan study of the comic goddess @mirkand89's Leslie from "Unnatural".
I cannot express to you how much I love this series.💜💜💜
Reminiscing a sweet autumn afternoon. The sound of live guitar playing from the street.
I took a gamble with the figure and the car. I lucked out! The man was on the phone in the same position for almost 45 minutes. The car left and was replaced with another one similar to it...twice! The universe works in mysterious ways.
Happy Thanksgiving!
How are you celebrating the holidays this year?
This year, since it's just us three,we decided to skip the cooking and order takeout. This way we can spend more quality time with each other. Despite this being such a crazy year, I have so so much to be thankful for.
Protect yourself and those around you by wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing your hands.
Another draw this in your style piece.
Gouache study of Jeong Moon-geun's digital manhwa.
I'm in love with their style and coloring, and best way to learn their technique is to copy it. Through this I am learning how the artist uses complementary color palette (blue/orange, purple/yellow) to create a calm yet exciting color scheme.
Also translating a digital piece onto traditional mediums was a challenge in itself. I had to think ahead and figure out how to layer the washes of paint to achieve the digital colors.
Overall it was a fun exercise. I'm planning to do a few more to learn.
I've been reading a lot of comics and manga lately, so naturally I'm inspired to make a manga inspired piece. What do you guys think of this style?
Just for fun it's also a draw this in your style piece inspired by @lukrecjakot. Check out their fun art too.
Building bridges.
Sunsets make me sad in a deep nostalgic way. I am taken by it's beauty but I am aware of the fleeting moments of its existence.

Feeling hopeful for the first time in four years.
The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
