the first sign of when fitz had his wedding ring back on in s6 🥺
the first time jemma sees her husband in a year and for probably one second she thought she was imagining it because she was still coming down from the high of the candy ☹️☹️
when your ship has excellent chemistry no matter what version of the characters its insane.
also the doctor is literally attracted to her evil version.
okay but imagine being THIS iconic of a love story that you got your own storybook within the actual show 🥺
Finally made my first edit ever!
It's not very fabulous and the audio is weird in some places, but ever since I heard The Scientist for the first time, I've always had this FitzSimmons edit running around in my mind. So I finally made it!
in the season 1 finale Fitz confesses his love to Jemma while they are in the containment pod to then cut to the series finale a symbol of their love and relationship in their daughter is hiding in a containment pod 😭😭😭
they also made the pod a big part of Fitzsimmons story in general as that is also where they were reunited after the framework and had their fight in the mind prison.
headcanon where fitz in season 2 avoided socialising with people so much due to paranoia that if he showed himself they would ridicule and judge him immensely, and it was to the point where when hunter found out about that - he had to physically force fitz to go out into public events with him so he could make fitz get comfortable with socialising again
becoming parents is a great look for them
I heavily dislike "The Devil Complex" in season 5 of Agents of Shield, why? Multiple reasons actually. Fitz went into psychosis due to lack of sleep, stress, and underlying mental health issues - but they dealt with that situation horribly, stereotyping him to be violent (with the manifestation of The Doctor as a separate personality of his, which is completely the wrong disorder/illness mind you.) And only using that whole moment as a way to drive the plot forward, not to mention it destroyed Daisy almost to an outstanding level only to forget about it an episode or two later.
Though, I've noticed this pattern with AOS and how they deal with the mental issues of their characters, they only ever use it as a way to let the story continue instead of letting it dwell on the characters as a whole - whilst letting it drive the plot forward.
My point being, I wish they handled the mental problems of their characters better, the devil complex being a perfect example of them mishandling it.
the girls having pictures of their lover boys on their phones <3
fitz 🤝 jemma
both learning an alien language the year they were apart in space and that just proves their soulmatism even more
(for Jemma she was away from him for a year in s6 but I think from his pov it was actually longer)
Daisy and Fitz turning evil in scenarios where they were supposed to be freed and happy finally is sooo sad because instead they were just abused and taken advantage of
Can’t have SHIT in this organization
when he went from being grumpy to a little smile when Jemma reminds him they are now married 🥺🥺
she truly is his biggest source of happiness even when his mental health is in the dumps <3
its so sick how LMD Radcliffe said to Fitz "you are like a son to me" knowing that he knew Alistair and that on some level he probably did see him as a father figure only to get betrayed by him too. 😭 😭
the parallels of Fitz talking to imaginary Jemma in his mind as a way to cope with his brain injury and he missed her so badly and saying "talking to you is the only time I feel clear and calm" then Jemma when shes on the alien planet she makes videos and recordings because talking to him even a whole world away is what kept her sane and a lifeline when feeling scared and alone.
"I'll still talk to you on my own if that's alright."
THEY DON'T EVEN NEED TO BE THERE TO FEEL SAFE WITH EACH OTHER
imagine being jemma's parents and fitz's mom and finding out that your kids got married and had a kid in space in the many years they weren't in contact.
they don't touch on it much at all but you can imagine at a certain point since things got so crazy and they were in space or fugitives or stuck in a alternate world they went a long time without talking to them.
and maybe sometime after the finale they told them they are now grandparents LOL
i feel like deke having been able to recreate his own version of the framework in the future of what remained of it was the first hint on some level that he was fitzsimmons grandson
it shows he's got the brains to be able to handle that kind of tech and we know Fitz had a part of creation of the original framework.
