Stahl was glad that she was so understanding. Seems like their worlds had similiarities since she mentioned half dragons. “Funny. I also have friends who can turn into dragons.” he chuckled. The man noticed her interest and who wouldn’t be interested in these things he saw. It is not like you see things like that everyday and it was a topic that was quite interesting for sure.
"We call them Risen… they are .. just like humans only that they do not seem to be alive anymore. Their eyes are red and soulless and their skin is dark and all they want is to kill you." he furroed his eyebrows and sighed deeply. As if the war wasn’t enough those weird things had to show up and make everything harder for him and his group.
"How easily cut down are they with a blade?" She wanted to know if it would be as simple to combat them as she hoped, but with the way things rolled around here, she wasn't sure it would ever be that easy. Alternatively, she supposed she could offer her services to cut it out at the source, but... did they even know where the source was?
"Do you... happen to know how to stop them?" That was the most important first step, right? She didn't want her home to fall into war and ruin. But then again, they may have it well in hand. Who knew? The meat was getting closer to done, so she went on to start preparing the rest of the meal.

"I thought so." he smiled at her and leaned a little back. The tent was warm and now it even started to smell good. Only that it surprised him that she was here all by herself. "So.. you are here all by yourself?" Stahl asked while he looked around. All the decorations in here were very beautiful. "Yes Ylisse… you might think i am crazy but that is in another … how would you call it..
Another world. It is very beautiful but lately weird creatures invaded our lands. They came through a portal in the sky. I wasn’t there when it happened but my Prince and his sister told me that they have seen it and i trust them.” Stahl was a bit worried about them now but he knew that they were doing fine even without him. The scent of the meat filled his nostrils and his stomach started to growl once more. It almost felt like he didn’t get to eat anything for quite awhile even though it were only a few hours.
"Another world, huh? Well, I wouldn't be surprised. I've seen my fair share of odd stuff lately. Even half dragons. Suffice to say, another world doesn't seem so out of place." Ninian and Nils were certainly an interesting duo, and brought on a whole new perspective on how the world worked to Lyndis.
"Weird creatures? Like what?" Naturally, she was curious. Who wouldn't be interested in weird creatures in another world. Though, the real reason for her interest was because she feared the safety of her friends. If they were coming through portals, and this man could come here, her world could be in danger. Potentially, anyways, it's not a sure thing.

"Now that is a culture i really like" he laughed a little when he looked around and took off the heavy chestplate he was wearing. "Oh.. i hope you don’t mind?" After he placed it down the Cavalier stretched his limbs and let out a little yawn.
Good that he arrived here really soon since it was just about to get dark and he didn’t want to be out there in the darkness in a place he doesn’t know. “Ah right.. I was so lost in my thoughts that i forgot to introduce myself. I am Stahl from Ylisse. Glad to meet you Lyndis.” Now Stahl felt at ease knowing that such a kind woman was here with him. Without her he would be still walking around outside looking for a shelter. The rider was quite exhausted but his hunger kept him awake so he just sat himself down on something that looked like a chair and yawned softly.
"I'm not so cruel as to make someone wear armor constantly. I'm sure it must get hot and sweaty in there. Pretty gross, if you ask me." Lyndis never had that problem. She wore a cloth outfit, and it in itself was rather... breezy. Needless to say, Lyndis never got overheated in it, as opposed to a thick suit of armor that would retain heat.
"You sacrifice speed and comfort for the sake of defense. That would get me killed." Her strategy needed her to be able to move swiftly and freely, and armor was too immobile. Not at all fitting for a user of a blade such as the Sol Katti. "Ylisse, huh? Never heard of it. Then again, I've basically been living under a rock my whole life. What's it like over there?" As she spoke, she began preparing a fire, in order to cook the meat.

"Are you sure?" Stahl was quite happy about the offer from her. Not many people would share their food with a stranger. "If you want i can cook for you? Since you allow me to have a meal with you .. and all." he smiled. The fact that he might not be able to return to Ylisse was now gone since he was looking forward to the meal. "Oh.. i was just joking anyway.. I never really plan to eat a Pegasus anyway.. I prefer other things alot more!" he laughed a little.
A meal always tasted good if you could share it with someone. That’s what he thought atleast. So he followed her into the tent and took a look around. It was simple but very comfortable and it kind of reminded him of his own. Only that his room was alot more messy. Seems like she was already preparing a meal already so the offer of him cooking was for nothing but that didn’t matter. He will find a way to make up for her hospitality.
"Nonsense. It's my home, you're a guest, I'm supposed to prepare a meal for you." Even if that's not how it went with the regular nobility or this male's culture - She honestly didn't know - , it was in her tribe's culture to prepare for a guest completely. Even if she was the sole person left in the tribe. Traditions are traditions, and she wasn't going to change them for the world.
Once he was in, Lyndis poked around her food stock, before turning back to him. "I completely forgot! Introductions are proper, correct? My name is Lyndis, of the Lorca tribe." She just wasn't going to mention where the rest of the tribe was. That wasn't a first meal conversation at all. Not one she liked to have with anyone, even, and her allies respectfully avoided the topic with her.
Ask my muse increasingly personal questions. See how far you can push them.
"Y-Yes… You’re right, Lyn… T-Thank you for supporting me so much… I… I know I can be great all on my own, without my sisters having to babysit me along the way… I’ll… I’ll prove to them I can be more than the scared little crybaby that I grew up as…!" She said, almost to herself, a new-found confidence building inside of her. If she had Lyn by her side, she began to believe there wasn’t any obstacle too difficult to overcome.
"Alright, but before you go nuts on new found confidence, let's settle down and do something. Perhaps eat?" Offering food was one of the basic social activities that even a plainswoman like Lyndis knew. She wanted to make sure Florina was making sure to eat, and that she was eating proper food, so it fell on her to prepare it for her friend.
"You know, though, I never honestly thought of you as a crybaby. Timid, and a bit silly, yes. But not a crybaby."

"Sure.." he said and handed the map over to her. The air around here was quite nice and Stahl just took a deep breath when all of a sudden his stomach started to growl. "I just ate something but now.. i could eat a pegasus." he chuckled and took a look around.
Only plains but somehow it was quite beautiful and it looks very comfortable around here. Stahl then walked back to his horse to look if he still had some provisions and luckily there was a whole loaf of bread and so he cut off some of it and started to eat it. He should have listened to Miriel and not get too close to the Outer Realm gates and now he was stuck here in this other world. Hopefully he wlill find a way back soon.
It only took her a few moments to figure out that this man was right. This definitely was not a map of the area at all. No, as far as she could tell, this was some made up land, probably drawn for fun and sold to get money from some fool who didn't know to properly check a map before purchasing it. Well, she'd leave that last part out, she didn't want to sour relations so early on over something so stupid.
"Would you like to come in for a meal? I'm afraid pegasus isn't on the menu. A dear friend of mine would kill me if it was. In it's stead, I have enough meats, grains, fruits and vegetables to last a long while." The meat she gathered herself. It was impossible to transport it from the towns without it spoiling. She got the other food from the nearest town though, and borrowed a horse for such trips.

Stahl looked at the map he got from a merchant a while ago and it seems like this one was just wrong and he spend a few coins for a fake. Luckily he found this woman and hopefully she wasn’t too confused about him. His attention then went back to her and he just had to smile. He could clearly see that she was really trying to speak like a noble. Maybe she was one since the way she moved reminded him of Emmeryn.
"You can talk to me like to everyone else. I am not a noble i am just a normal Cavalier Milady." he smiled at her and walked a bit closer only to hold out the map he got. "I have the suspision that this map i’ve got is fake since it didn’t lead me anywhere.. other than here into the wild." he said scratching the back of his head.
"Ah, of course." She forgot that most people don't care whether or not she carries herself true to her noble blood, even if it is "diluted" by her father's nomad blood. "Do you mind handing me that map? I know my way around these parts, even without a map. I should be able to verify your suspicions."
In addition to having traveled across the lands twice, her father taught her much about the different locations. With even a glance, she should be able to catch landmarks that should be on a map, or lack thereof.
She sniffed before nodding, knowing that Lyn would always be there for her no matter what-- Even if she did go back to Ilia.
"T-Thank you, Lyn... I... I would love to stay here with you... ...I... I hate the thought of you having to live alone out here while I'm with all the other pegasus knights in Ilia..." She said quietly.
"I-I just hope my sisters won't be disappointed in me for leaving Ilia..."
"Hey..." Lyn put her hand on Florina's shoulder, trying to reassure her. "I'm sure they're proud that you're making your own choices, without letting pressure dictate what you do. You're becoming stronger willed, and there's nothing to be disappointed about in that, right? If it counts for anything, I'm certainly proud of you for overcoming as many obstacles as you already have. Many people would give up by now, you know."
She wasn't entirely sure what Florina's sisters would think, in all honesty. She was sure she was right, but... not 100% sure. But all Florina needed was a little encouragement, not definite proof, right?

So this outer realm seemed to be very interesting but he had no idea where he was and so Stahl decided to ride his horse as long as possible since there was no way back. For now. After a long ride he finally found a tent and out there was a young woman. Seems like she was alone so he carefully got closer to her before he climbed off his horse. “Uhm.. Excuse me? Could you tell me where i am?”
Lost. Well, it figures. She did live in the middle of nowhere, so it was to be expected that no one except her friends would come out here knowing that there would be people. Clearing her throat, and preparing to address the man properly, the carefully thought her next few words as to not stumble on them.
"You are in the Sacae Plains, a few days' ride from Caelin or Ostia, or any such places. From where do you hail?"
"O-Oh… R-Right." She nodded with a small smile upon once again being able to converse with her friend like the old times they used to spend together.
"I… I suppose nothing really exciting has happened for me either… I did talk to my sisters recently, as they want me to return to Ilia… B-But, I really think I’d much rather stay here on the plains of Sacae with you, Lyn… Back home I’m treated like I’m such a child— But… …But you make me feel appreciated… I-Important…" She sighed contently, dearly hoping her sisters would understand her desire to remain in the freedom of the plains with her most dear friend.
((Hello there, Florina-mun here~! Glad to see a new Lyndis account joining Tumblr! Welcome to Tumblr, and though I’m not sure if you’re completely new or just made a new account, but trust me when I say the Fire Emblem Roleplaying Community is very friendly here! c:))
"Hey, it's alright. It's just me and you, nothing to be afraid of, right?" Naturally, she wanted Florina to feel comfortable talking to her. Not always the easiest thing achieved, given Florina's skittishness, but she liked to think she was pretty good at calming the Pegasus Rider down. Years of knowing each other and being the right gender tended to do that, though.
"Well, I trust in whatever decision you make. If you wish to stay here, I will continue to welcome you with open arms. If you wish to go back, I would miss you, but I wouldn't hold you back." She was telling the truth, though she knew full well that Florina would choose to stay here. She just wanted to be sure the nervous girl knew there was a choice, and someone supported her choice.
