im laughing so fucking hard could you imagine engie is driving into town to get food or something and he hears this horrible noise and turns around and soldier is fucking tailing his truck by pogoing down the fucking highway i am in tears at this visual

everything at the bases is heavily fortified against damage so soldier’s used to his rockets not even denting the metal or cracking the concrete so one day he goes into town, bored out of his mind,and rocket jumps onto a roof. it fucking destroys the sidewalk and breaks all the windows and he’s standing on the roof, looking down, and goes. “huh. so much for american ingenuity! crappy modern buildings cant even withstand a simple rocket launcher blast!”

splatoon raiders tip for multiplayer (technically game spoilers but no story spoilers)

ive noticed big shots end up killing people a lot, so heres a tip for helping prevent teammate deaths

you can actually use big man’s showstopper to stop big shots from hitting the ground and making a shockwave if you position yourself to be just under their spring, jump to try to hit the spring in the air for the best results

i can only assume what happens is that when the big shot’s spring lands on big man it gets knocked back upwards which stops it from being able to take action, thus stopping the shockwave from happening
