Do Titles Even Matter?

I know that someone far better for you is out there. So, I’ll be a stepping stone. A place holder. I’ll stay by your side until you find them. Your happiness means more than anything to me, I couldn’t possibly stand in your way. I’ll bask in every moment I get with you and burn them all into my mind. I hate that all my worst traits come out when I’m dating someone. This is the last person I want to see the parts of me that I hate the most, yet they are the one most likely to be shown. It’s awful. I’m awful.

Being cheated on has me so fucked yo mentally that now I can’t tell if I’m being unreasonably jealous or if I have genuine reason to be concerned. Like am I being paranoid because of of past? I just don’t know and it’s crushing me.

Having to blatantly see how easy I was to replace kills me. Sitting across the room seeing them all having a great time with my replacement. More than anything I miss my friends, but they don’t miss me.

I always get this deep feeling that I just want to go home. The problem is, no where feels like home anymore. It’s such a painful ache so deep in my chest, it feels like I can hardly breathe. Which the intensity of the feeling just makes me want to go home even more, and it starts the vicious cycle that goes on and on until I’m so worn out I pass out. I just wish I knew how to make it stop.

The person I thought I’d always want no longer exists. I don’t know when he changed so much but he hasn’t been that person for a long time I don’t think. He cheated and dropped me and painted me as the villain. It hurts so fucking badly, but he’ll never be the person I want again.

I keep getting this overwhelming feeling that I so badly just want to go home, but no where feels like home anymore. And that crushes me more than anything else.

I want so badly to just drop everyone and everything. To go somewhere else, start over new, and never look back.

I finally get it. I could never make you happy. So I have to let you go. It hurts so much and I’ll always love you, but it’s what needs to be done. I’m sorry I couldn’t be a better partner. I hope you get everything you could ever want out of life.
