Seeing a sky like this isn’t exactly common when you live in the city, the power would have to be out to see this many stars. So when were out under this sky I honestly was so amazed. My neck started to hurt because I couldn’t stop looking up. It took my breath away. I never realized the beauty in it until this night. The pictures don’t do it justice, but I hope someone else finds it as beautiful as I did.

The only thing i really care about when it comes to my relationships is that their based on honesty. I can’t stand being lied to.

To find out that the one person I gave everything to had been lying to me for so long literally breaks my heart.

You did the one thing you swore you wouldn’t, the one thing you knew I couldn’t accept. You risked your life and let our other friend do the same after we all watched his brother die from the same thing.

I’m so angry at you and at myself for being so naive.

Change .

I’ve never been good with change. Just the thought makes me anxious. But even I know that sometimes its for the best. I could feel that this was what I needed but even with knowing that I’m so unbelievably terrified. My whole world and life is changing and now I have no plans. My future is uncertain and I am almost completely alone. I have had a life partner for the last 7 years and now I don’t. Now all I have is me and i have to figure out how to go on by myself. And maybe actually figure out who I am. I’m just trying to not let my fear cause me to go running back to the familiar because thats whats easy. I need to move on.

Tonight

Tonight I forced my anxious self out of my comfort zone. I went to a concert alone. I’ve been tired of missing all these concerts because I couldn’t find anyone to go with me. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with doing things alone. I don’t really understand why it’s looked so down upon to do things like go to the movies, a restaurant, or a concert alone. These are all things you can enjoy by yourself, sure good company can help any situation, but it’s not necessary to have company to eat, watch a movie, or see a band. Since I’m at a point in my life where I enjoy my own company and like doing some things alone, I thought that maybe if I pushed myself out of my comfort zone this could become one of those things. And honestly besides not having anyone to talk to, there wasn’t anything wrong with it. I didn’t have to worry about anyone else the whole time I was there. It was all about the band. I didn’t have any weird experiences with people and got really lucky to not have anyone approach me on the trolley or the ten blocks I walked downtown to the trolley. I really had a great night. The opening bands were way better than I expected and put on great a show. And Simple Plan freaking killed it! I can’t even put it into words. I’m so glad I didn’t miss this show because it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. It’s even worth the ringing that still happening in my ears and the headache that’s coming on. I encourage you to never deny yourself an experience because you can’t find someone to join you. Sometimes you gotta do things alone.
