People returned to what was left of their homes, but all they found was rubble—scattered stones and memories buried beneath the wreckage. Some searched for their missing children, for the mother who was here before the ceiling collapsed, for a voice that once filled the place with life. Destruction is everywhere, and death has not yet left. It lingers, as if waiting to take more.
470 days of war, yet it has not ended. A new battle has begun—the battle to find shelter amidst the ruins, to find a morsel of food for starving children, to find medicine for those still suffering. Unexploded missiles litter the streets, a haunting reminder that danger is far from over. We live among the wreckage, sleep under the open sky, searching for a moment of safety that remains out of reach.
I am one of those who have not broken, but I am exhausted. I need your help; I need you not to abandon me or those who remain. Do not leave us alone in this devastation. Do not let our voices fade beneath the fallen walls. We are not just numbers in the news—we are human beings who dream of nothing more than to live.
While the world celebrates the new year with lights, joy, and warmth, we in Gaza are trapped in darkness and terror. No decorations, no festivities—only the deafening roar of planes and bombings shattering the silence of our nights.
In fragile tents and broken shelters, we fight to survive the biting cold and the devastation that surrounds us. The rain seeps through, the wind cuts deep, and yet, somehow, we cling to hope.
You are our last lifeline—don’t leave us to face this nightmare alone. Your kindness can be the light that breaks through this darkness and the warmth that saves us from despair.
Even a small donation—€5 or €10—could mean food for a child, warmth for a family, or a glimpse of safety in this endless fear.
Please, don’t turn away. Help us. Your support is the only thing standing between us and the abyss

guys everything that has been transpiring in north gaza is so insane that it truly boggles my mind how underreported it is. 8 days and counting of siege in north gaza that's killing hundreds of palestinians daily ("genocide within a genocide"), almost half a million people left with no food, water, or electricity, jabalia camp is literally being reduced to rubble as we speak, no signs of the bombing in lebanon abating with time, north gaza is utterly sealed off from the rest of gaza city, mass expulsion and starvation everywhere--and it's just getting worse. please don't be fooled that it's any better because people have chosen to stop caring. it's every bit as horrific as ever before
asking you all to please donate to mohammed's fundraiser, whose entire family is stuck in gaza city where this is all happening. mohammed is only 19 years old, but he's still tasked with somehow evacuating his entire family, including a brother who's blind, another brother who suffers from chronic illness, a 6 year old brother (practically a toddler), his sister, and his father who has diabetes. what's even more heartbreaking about this is this isn't this family's first rodeo dealing with displacement and starvation, bc their house was destroyed all the way back in 2014. they lived through more wars than we could even count on one hand
this really is just too much and it's our responsibility to help them however we can, whether it be through donating whatever we can afford or reblogging so more people can do so as well. this could absolutely mean the difference between life and death for them so please help them out by doing everything you can
this is the ninth day of the siege upon North Gaza. there has been a media blackout for almost 24 hours. horrifying stories shared by journalists such as the iof deploying robots strapped with bombs that would loop the sound of crying or screaming babies and children to lure kind-hearted rescuers before exploding. most of the field hospitals are now compromised. there are no ambulances left.
please please help Mohammed and his family. it has never been so urgent. since the start of the genocide, North Gaza has been isolated and denied food aid, medical equipment, and vaccines.
Only THREE donations in the past 6 hours. €5,954 / €50,000 total goal as of Oct 13. every single euro can be used to buy food, help the family evacuate, and get needed treatment.
please think of the disabled people of gaza. please think of the diabetic people of gaza. please think of the neurodivergent people of gaza. please think of those whose lives are relying on medicine that has either stopped coming in due to the blockade, or is available in such scarcity that its price has skyrocketed.
we're approaching winter. on top of the challenge of securing waterproof tents and sufficiently warm clothing, some diabetic people in gaza have stopped taking their insulin as they can no longer afford it. those who are able to acquire it for now know every shot may be their last.
Please help Mohammed, reblog this post and donate whatever you can. Reblogging takes three seconds and can help Mohammed survive, take action to help him please. And if you can, donate through his gofundme. You, followers, mutuals, any tumblr user can help.
In Mawasi Khan Younis, where torn tents struggle to withstand the harshness of winter, the Israeli occupation brought death to those seeking refuge. A devastating bomb tore through the fragile shelters, killing 22 innocent souls—children, women, and families—turning the place into a scene of blood and rubble. In mere moments, dreams vanished, lives were lost, and a sanctuary became a graveyard. Yet, the world watches in deafening silence, as if complicit in this crime. How can humanity endure such brutality? Where is the conscience as the cries of the innocent fade into the cold night?
Be the lifeline my family desperately needs before they vanish from this world. Your donation can be the game-changer they’re praying for!
Save my family from hunger—your support here could be their lifeline!👈💖🫂

Thank you kind stranger for booping me! While you're here, will you please consider helping my friend Mohammed (@ahmed-0-khalil) and his 5 siblings in Gaza? Things are so bad they are now in debt because they have to borrow money to buy food! Food prices in Gaza are increasing in such alarming rate that a small sardines, usually a very cheap fish, is 5900% more expensive than usual! It's so bad that they are now eating spoiled flour filled with weevils because it's all the food they have! And that is in addition to the frequent bombings they have to face!
Mohammed is only 19 years old and yet he has to bear the responsibility to find money so that his family may eat. His has a brother who is blind, another who is autistic, and his youngest brother is only 6 years old! He is scared that they will be starved to death, and told me that "if we are not killed by Israeli occupation fire we will be killed by hunger"! He is only 19 years old, he should be worrying about his studies, having fun (like spam booping strangers on Tumblr), instead of worrying if his family will survive!

Mohammed (@ahmed0khalil) and his family are sheltering in a school-turned-shelter at Deir el-Balah right now. Do you know how terrified I was to see on the news that a school in Deir el-Balah has just been bombed?? A school that was housing thousands of displaced families! At least 28 people have been killed and 92 injured.
Mohammed sent me a photo of a severed foot, telling me there he was at the school moments before the massacre happened! It could have been him that was killed, that severed food could have been his, it could so easily have been him! Luckily he and his family were not there when the airstrike hit. But do you know how scared I am for them?? Mohammed told me he saw so much blood and body parts lying around. God, what can I even say? Mohammed is only 19 years old, his youngest brother is only 6, what have they done to have to go through this absolute nightmare?
Most of the victims of this bombing were women, children, and young people. Like Mohammed and his 5 siblings! The medical personnel are trying their best to treat the injured, but it is difficult due to the lack of supplies and the hospital is absolutely overwhelmed. I'm so scared for Mohammed and his family. They are so young, what if it had been them?

Please support Mohammed and his family by sharing and donating. Every little bit can make a difference, whether it is to help them buy basic necessities like medical supplies to treat injuries, or to go towards the evacuation fee to leave Gaza. Please, I don't want them to survive on luck alone.

Whenever Mohammed (@ahmed0khalil) tells me about his situation , it breaks my heart. They are struggling so much financially that they have to borrow money to buy anything! And food in Gaza is so expensive right now. He used to be able to buy a kilo of small sardines for about 50 cents, but now they cost 30 dollars. They can no longer afford food. It's so bad that they are now using spoiled flour full of weevils to make food, because that's all they have!
The situation has become so bad that Mohammed keeps raising the possibility of him being killed lately. "If the Israeli planes kill me...", "if we are not killed by Israeli occupation fire we will be killed by hunger...", "I just hope I can evacuate my family before I get killed"... He is afraid that they will die from bombs, he is afraid that they will die from hunger. Mohammed is only 19 years old, so young, only a teenager! He just wants his family to survive! That shouldn't be too much to ask for!
Mohammed is only 19 years old but now he is responsible of getting enough funds so that his 5 siblings can survive. His brother Fathi is blind, his other brother Abdullah is autistic, and his youngest brother is only 6 years old. They are just children. Please, help them.

you should not stop thinking about the children in gaza. you should not stop thinking about people with serious medical conditions living in gaza. you should not forget about the young people shouldering heavy responsiblities in gaza.
my friend mohammed is just nineteen years old and is taking care of his whole family. he has a six year old brother. his brother should be in school. he should be enjoying his childhood. however, for him and countless other children in gaza, a school is not a place where one goes to learn but a place where one goes to seek protection from bombs.
some of mohammed's loved ones suffer from various medical conditions. his brother is blind and had a coronary artery surgery. he looks after them with great love and care. he is doing his best to make sure that his family is safe. however, everything has become more expensive as no aid has entered gaza since may. food and warm clothes are very expensive and mohammed cannot shoulder the costs all by himself.
please consider helping my friend by donating or sharing his fundraiser. there has only been one single donation in the last 24 hours. we've raised €15,657 out of €50K.

Mohammed khalil, 19 years old, has survived more than six wars, and his family's life has been greatly affected. Mohammed and his family survive being bombed while walking. He injured his foot while trying to get an internet connection and witnessing horrific massacres. His family is in a dire situation, with an older blind brother, a young brother with autism, and one sister and youngest brother. Their home and livelihood were destroyed, and they are now living in an overcrowded UN school with no clean water or safety. Mohammed is trying to raise money to get his family to a safe place outside Gaza, and with your donation and support this can be a reality for Mohammed and his family.

For the fourth time in a row, the United States has used its veto power to back Israeli occupation, turning a blind eye to the voices calling for justice and an end to the ongoing genocide against our people. They had the chance, even once, to stand on the side of right and stop this injustice, but instead, they chose to support aggression and oppression.
Right now, my family, like thousands of others, is enduring harsh conditions in this freezing cold, with no safety or warmth. Your donation could be the lifeline we desperately need. Step up, and let’s make a difference together

mohammed (19) has to evacuate his family from gaza as soon as the crossing opens.
one of his brothers suffers from coronary artery disease and needs medical aid (very expensive in gaza).
despite being nineteen, all the responsibility has fallen on his shoulders and he has to take care of all his siblings.
he has been displaced multiple times and is taking shelter in deir al-balah which is very very dangerous as the occupation frequently bombs the area frequently.
disease runs rampant in the place where they're taking shelter. he has a six y/o brother with him.
help him save his family, put yourself in his shoes and imagine what he's going through. it is important that we come together to help this family. share this post and donate if you have the means to.
@ahmed0khalil asked me to boost his family’s campaign with some art, so here it is !
The Khalil family is a family of eight, many of whom are children, including Ahmed who is only 6 and barely started school when they had to flee from bombings. They currently reside in a UN center among many other families, but medical and hygiene care and proper accommodations are extremely difficult to find and keep in these conditions.
This campaign is very far from their goal, so please share and support where you can.
