— he was born & raised in seoul by a single mother who ran away from home. she had cut all ties with her parents and while she was stubborn about keeping her child, she could barely support them, and worked as a dancer in a night club.
— sejun was usually at home alone because of that & learned to take care of himself and the house.
— he didn’t know what she did for work, but he knew she was up to no good; her hands shook, she was pale and unhealthy, but as a child, he didn’t know what to do.
— TW at the age of 14, he found her body in the bathroom, she had overdosed on heroin
— her friends, or more like bosses pitied him and gave him a room, and by the age of 16, he started working at the back rooms of the club, helping around the bar however he could without being on the front lines.
— without any proper figure in his life, he got acquainted with many ‘’people’’ on the streets. one thing led to another and he found himself involved within a gang. when they saw he was quick on his feet and willing, they gave him a gig as a runner — as a test to see how well he fared on the field.
— having been a runner for a long time, he got to show himself during one of the ops where a higher up was present. it was risky but worked out well and thanks to that moment, he’s now involved with the higher-ups more often, his position better than before. he still tends the bar on most nights when there’s nothing going on with the gang, and acts as if that’s his only job ? although he’s on & off most of the time, no one has noticed so far
— personality wise, he’s v cocky and kind of a dick tbh ? like, although he’s quite tactful and smart when it comes to his job/when he wants to — he isn’t really quite sensible. can be impatient, rash & short-tempered, he will prob fight you if he’s in a bad mood.
— a mix between a sinnamon roll and ‘looks like they could kill you and would actually kill you’ ( jk no murdering maybe but he’s a dirty fighter ) ? a Chaotic Neutral, he doesn’t care abt the law, although knows very well how to avoid it
— is a Mess™ with relationships but thats to be expected i suppose ? he has a lot of one-night stands ( will prob sleep with anyone smh ) but when it comes to romance, he’s the worst, will probably act like he doesn’t have any feelings at all, though he’s dyin a lil inside ( good luck getting that outta him weLP )
— it’s a bit difficult when it comes to friends too bc he might act like he doesn’t care too much, but will f up whoever messed with someone he’s friends with !! super protective and kinda possessive ? good thing he doesn’t date much yikes
