don't know if this has been assked before but why doesnt Andrew fight back against Ivan? is Ivan physically stronger than him? im asking this because i dont know if the scene where the hand grabs you when youre hiding in the bathroom is Ivan choking Andrew or its just a metaphor

Regarding your swap au of Andrew, In your opinion if you were to pu og Ivan in a room with your swap Andrew how unstable would you think they'd both be when together? To be more specific, how'd they'd interact and all.

Also would you think Ivandrew would be 'healthy' if it was og Andrew and swap Ivan? Or would the both of them still have issues with each other (thats not abuse)

HM!Andrew & BT!Ivan would WANT to apologize, but yk the apologies will be as self centered or blaming as the both of them were during the abuse

I feel like it’d be a little bit of uncomfortable & comforting for them both, but they know that it’d be unhealthy to just get with an alternate version of your abuser, after all they’re still the same person with the same personality.

Headcanon? Theory?? AU??? Pointing out potential or accidental coding???? No idea It's about Ivan whatever it is! also sorry if this is too long.

•Tumors in the brain can actually cause someone to start acting more aggressive and abusive like a switch flipped.

•Ivan has a big eye and a little eye, which can either be a lazy eye or one pupil is larger than the other, which could be a condition but it is also sometimes a sign of a tumor in the brain. (but we see in the cutscene where he gets Andrew from his house that he has the same thing still going on, so it could just be eye condition.)

•We know the Ivan and Andrew had a good relationship before everything went to hell.

•There's a character in the game called Tumor-

Ivan may have had brain cancer But that's just a theory a game theo- would that mean Ivan got gaslighted by his own tumor?

{extremely hostile reminder that Ivan has a loving mom /silly} {post-canon thoughts below! Spoilers be warned!}

{I had the fun idea of Andrew (begrudgingly) attending Ivan’s funeral, him and Ivan’s mom being the only two attendees… and I think for my heart they’d confide in one another}

{I mean, having to bury your husband and son is already hard, but if we take Ivan and Andrew as young adults, she could be as young as 45- late 40’s to early 50’s and having your whole family die, especially like that…}

{And Andrew has an awful family, so you see what I’m saying? She still gets to be a mother, he gets a family-type support system he never had, they can sorta grieve together} {though. I don’t think Andrew would talk about Ivan’s behavior to her, not for YEARS at least}

{…also it’s probably obvious, but this isn’t intended as a ship. I just think Mom needs more love as a character!}
