So I’ve been kinda quiet all day, doing my homework on the Velveteen Dream situation. I’ve been watching it closely. I unfortunately don’t have too many screen shots because one of his accusers, a boy named Jacob Schmidt, took his social media down.
Jacob Schmidt had been asked a number of times to do a screen recording. There had been questions regarding the validity of the messages that he was sent. People were noticing that the display name had some strange pixelation around it and was not appearing under messages and upon closer review, the verification mark was off in size. And he was hesitant to do a screen recording... which is strange, because 1: if you were so willing to post pics of this conversation, a screen recording which is more damning is only going to help your case, and 2: you should go to the police if you are a child being spoken to this way by an adult... but he didn’t.
So after some badgering... about 30-40 minutes or so, he posted a screen record, going out of the conversation with Dream and back in. And it seemed like all was pretty on point... except for a Twitter handler by the @ of BukaMania89 noticed something a little off.
Our friend Jacob was in a group chat called “exposing n-words.”
Now... it’s a little peculiar to me that if you had proof of something... you’d spend so much time waiting to release it. However, if you have racist items on your phone that need to be handled before you do... that makes sense for the hesitation there.
And while we can’t see who’s in the group chat... Jacob’s *friends* are the ones who also received these messages “from” Velveteen Dream. Seems a little bit suspicious there...
Also the nude that was leaked of Velveteen (which I will not be posting here for matters of being respectful, even the censored version) had a FULL chest of hair. As we’ve seen on television... Dream’s chest lately is waxed clean. So that is an old nude, not taken for this conversation... but possibly saved onto his camera reel, which we’ve seen other superstars: Paige, Charlotte, Toni Storm, just to name a few... get hacked.
Dream has a history of getting his social media and his phone hacked. As recently as 2018 in fact, his Twitter had been hacked. To make a misstep this big, from his verified WWE property account? I don’t think so. That’s a little too big for me to buy.
So now that Jacob has been called out for being a racist, one would think that his integrity comes into question and how credible he is as a “victim.” How it’s strange all of his friends are “victims” and how they could potentially be in the racist group chat “Exposing N-Words.” Of course this is my speculation of a timeline seeming off, and of timing seeming off. Now, I’m not going to say don’t believe victims. I’ve been a victim. It’s fucking bullshit and you live with that forever and fuck ANYBODY who discredits them. But I am going to say wait until you get all of the facts before you form a lynch mob, because that’s how people who have done nothing but find success get unnecessarily cancelled for something they more than likely did not do.
