Dad. Used that word probably less than a hundred times during my growing up years. I've always thought that not having a dad wouldn't be an issue because he has never been there for me the past 23 years. Mom has been the Dad! She did a fairly good job raising this rebellious one. At the same time, as i scroll down my timeline. There are people who are born without dads. Forced to figure out how a man's responsilibity plays a great part in a family. While i sit here figuring out why did my father chose that family over ours. I don't hate you dad but sometimes it would be nice to get a call and ask about my well-being! But somehow, deep down.. i can never feel hate. Just love. As if i have had spent my years sitting on your lap and hearing you advice me about boys or my future plans. I have a missing puzzle piece to my heart that no one can ever fix or purchase to say the least. Having to know the truth about certain things really broke me. Under such circumstances, I force myself to become numb. I swallow and bottle my feelings up. The pros' of this saga is that what you did can never be undone. It made me a better person! Reality hits hard. Really hard. Wherever you are.. i just want you to be proud of me and my achievements and do know that i love you. Always will. xx, A.R
