Guild Wars 2's new Living Story alert and window are kinda cute.
Making a RPG was actually pwetty fun! I spent almost two weeks making my first game, and I actually spent a surprisingly small amount of time playing other games while I was doing that. :o
But act 1 of it is done, and you can try it! What do you think of it?
I like the way environmental stuff disappears in this game when they get in the way of your camera. ^^;
I'm making my first RPG maker game ever. It's super unoriginal, generic, and cliche, especially according to kyoniichan. D-does anyone want to play it?
That big one is shuper cute. It also got us killed when we suddenly discovered that it doesn't actually go away right away after you collect it. :o
Avia got stuck in her first game with me, and then the other team ended up having to kill themselves, and then that still didn't end our game, so we all ended up stuck in our game until the server got bored and disconnected everyone. There were no winners.
It was kinda funny though.
It's so cute how Ibb and Obb retract their legs when they get bored!
I hate character customization in games. I like making my characters shuper cute, so I spend hours and hours on trying to make my characters look as cute as I can make them. I hate it because it's so time consuming! I want to just get into game already, but I can't do that if I'm not gunnya be cute because I'll be spending more time thinking about how uncute I am instead of enjoying the game!
This game is even worse. It doesn't even have options or sliders or anything I can drag precisely.
This game is shoo incredibly cute that when my sister and I got stuck and couldn't continue at all, we started laughing uncontrollably instead of getting mad. I also like its level select place! Its preview bubbles are kinda fancy. And look at all the cute little faces everything has, from rocks to jumpy pads to even the mean spikes! :o
I was wondering if the Zephyrites all lived on that large-but-not-super-big ship in the Labyrinthine Cliffs, but it turns out that they actually have this huge fleet!
I used an Experience Scroll in the tutorial, and I discovered that it doesn't have downscaling! It let me kill everything in one hit, and I somehow managed to unlock three skills at the same time! I tried to kill four things at once, but I couldn't find any groups of more than three centaurs. :<
I guess this is Transistor's version of the Bastion! It looks really pwetty. ^^;
These somewhat pointless info popups are actually kinda funny! And I think I've heard that those weird glowing blue-green globs are other players who are at the same spot as I am. I wonder if they're actually there in real time, or if they were recorded on some server and then I'm just watching a sort of replay?
Turn() is a pretty interesting mechanic in an otherwise fast paced game, and it looks sho pwetty! I was saying that Shadowrun's digital place looked pretty, but mebee this is even prettier! And in one of the test thingies I found a hilarious combo that was shuper effective, but it kept crashing my computer every time I tried to run it. ^^;
Ooh, and I guess it also qualifies as an alternate vision mode, and I like those!
Transistor's skill system is actually pretty interesting! Each skill is a function that you can use, but you could also equip them in passive slots for them to do something else thash thematically similar. But the most interesting thing is that you can actually equip skills on other skills, and that lets you augment your functions with other sub-features!
And to top that all off, each function is actually a person with a little bio you can read. ^^;
Transistor looks very digital, which fits its name, I guess. it actually seems to take place in a pretty interesting universe that seems to take place inside some sort of simulation. Apparently the police officers are called Administrators, the parts of town they close off are Offline Pending Investigation, the weather is determined by a vote, and the entire layout of the town can change over and over again as the architect revises it to suit citizens' needs. o.o
