Recently completed icon commission for a user on IG

I made a big ol' pile of big cat glyphs in a whole bunch of species way back. Palaeosinensis is my favorite of course, but next in line is probably the Smilodon, the maned lion, and the puma. I aught to come back to this overall concept; they're simultaneously easy to do and incredibly difficult which makes my brain happy to work out.

Once Was Still Is 2022

Spent a lot of time thinking about my ragdoll cat who passed away two years ago while I was working on this piece. It's not really representative of her, but the meditative nature of pyrography can allow you to soak in old memories while you work. She was my helldaughter and in a way she still is. I miss her every day.
