I watched Gunmen of the Apocalypse last night.

I think series 6/7 is peak Lister for me, when he’s at his most attractive physically. I like the white shirt / brown leather combo very much and he’s no longer the very young and slightly ‘too’ dirty looking character that he was in series 1.

I also love the dark red uniform that Rimmer wears at the start of series 6, a bit more ‘figure hugging’ than the lighter one in series 5 and less distractingly shiny. It’s a shame he didn’t wear it for long, though I sort of like the blue. The dark red rivals his green ‘Captain Emerald’ uniform with the braces for me

Basically, series 6 is peak Lister/Rimmer in terms of their attractiveness..

And can I just add how much I love the scene at the start of ’Gunmen’ where Kryten is TRYING to get Lister’s attention whilst Lister is TRYING to have sex in the VR unit. It nearly rivals a certain scene in Polymorph - nearly. Kryten’s irritation with Lister is so well played by Robert and for once Rimmer probably agrees with Kryten.
