I wish I could just explore.
Instead of wasting my life at school, and doing the same thing..the same exact routine I do every single day; I wish I could go out and explore the world. To actually learn things from the trip and enjoy my time. I think that's what everyone should do in their life.
I can’t see myself going to college, and working as a desk “high pay” job if that makes sense. I want to live on the road, only worrying about my time in place, and not about following societies norm. I’ve written about this same thing plenty of times buuuut, its just a one of those things that keep nagging on the edge of my everyday life.
I feel like I don’t fit in. Like I belong someplace else.. but I just haven't found it yet?
I tried Meditating over my “Past lives” thinking I’d find a source to my fears and needs.. but I haven't made much of any progress.
Maybe I’m not ready yet.. Or High schools just distracting me from my path. I’ll find it one way or another.
I posted this so long ago, now everything's incredibly different.
My fears
I have a fear of loud "world ending" sounds (such as the washer and dryer going at the same time, or the first alarm going off, or fireworks) & along with that, I also have a fear of falling through floors. These two can sometimes occur at the same time, for instance: if I hear the washer/dryer going, and next door I can hear a party going on (where people jump up and down, And yell), and then I see the amount of furniture stacked up on the floors... and then all other sounds start to add on. I then go into a freak out mode. There are many combinations these two things can play into, like having too many people around me who are all talking at once (usually starts to trigger it), along with other things... Very weird hah...

Bernie Sanders, who is pushing to raise minimum wage to $15 per hour, only pays his interns $12 per hour.

internships are a way to gain experience and a lot of them don’t even pay i don’t really see the issue tbqh
#1) that’s still 5 more dollars an hour than minimum #2) He is not as well supported as other candidates #3) Said other candidates often DON’T PAY THEIR INTERNS SINCE THEY DON’T HAVE TO #4) get the fuck out of here with that shit
If the population of Earth were only 100 people and one guy tried to hoard 99% of the money. The other 99 people would simply just kill that guy and take their money back.

[Money = power] that single person could buy weapons and soldiers to simply keep the system running. I don't think money would matter in a simple society as the 100/1 pop. instead the trading system would take its place.
A great sorrow, and one that I am only beginning to understand: we don’t get to choose our own hearts. We can’t make ourselves want what’s good for us or what’s good for other people. We don’t get to choose the people we are.
Donna Tartt, The Goldfinch (via wordsnquotes)
I heard a lady on the intercom say, ‘Security aisle five, security aisle five,’ so I looked up and sure enough it says 'aisle five’ and I’m the only one standing there. I asked her, 'Why are you targeting me? Because I’m dressed like this? Because I have this face? Why did you decide that I needed to be checked on — to see if I was stealing anything? People in Canadian society, in Winnipeg, in Manitoba grow up learning negative stereotypes about indigenous people and they don’t bother to correct these stereotypes on their own as they become adults. We see them in everyday situations carrying these stereotypes about indigenous people, and sometimes it comes boldly into your face and we all individually have to handle it. North Wilson said she hopes her story encourages others to speak out and file formal complaints. It was important to me that they knew that they can’t paint us all with the same brush. Anyone who’s faced this sort of racial profiling needs to speak up if they can, when they can. If they can’t do it verbally, they should write formal complaints, because the more we don’t say anything, the more time it’s going to take to educate the rest of the public.
