It was International Polar Bear Day on Tuesday. With all the snow we’ve been having it felt appropriate to do a little painting!

Whooooo Oscar nomination!! I can't really describe how proud I am to have worked on The Breadwinner. I learned an insane amount and it was humbling to work with such a talented and passionate team in the Cartoon Saloon. Nora Twomey is one of the most inspirational person I've ever worked with and I'm so happy that she's now getting the recognition she deserves. 

My roles on the film were model sheets, animation posing and key background artist.

Home will be a part of the Art Action exhibition held at La Bellevilloise in Paris. All artwork will be auctioned on October 14th to raise money for BAAM, an association which helps refugees, asylum-seekers and undocumented migrants in France.

Just realised that I never posted my wee contribution to the Jack and Jill Foundation’s Incognito fundraiser exhibition in April!

Sounds like the event was a great success, raising much needed funds for home nursing care for the 300 children cared for by the charity.

I’m very happy to share the trailer for Late Afternoon by Louise Bagnall. I worked on this beautiful short as a concept artist in the early stages of the film. I also did some backgrounds, some effects-y type animation and some compositing! It premiered last weekend so keep an eye out for it at film festivals this year!!

Some backgrounds I worked on with Tumblehead Studios. Really quick turnaround on these... 20 backgrounds in my spare time over 3- 4 weeks. Fun little project and really great to work with those nice folk in Denmark!
