I love getting the chance to re-explain things about my fic. It gives me the chance to refresh my memory on certain parts, and since it takes me a while to write out chapters I sometimes forget what ive already said. I really don't mind answering, so please, everyone, don't hesitate to ask me to explain something. The worst I'll do if I've already answered the question, is repost the link to my previous explanation.

No shame on my blog. I want you guys to understand my story, and it doesn't benefit anyone if I leave you guys confused.

I’m having more baby Grace cg Rocky thoughts. Who’s surprised? Not me. I feel like something like this would happen later along in their friendship, once Grace’s regression becomes an established part of their lives. (For logistic purposes just imagine Rocky in his flexible fitted xenonite suit)

Grace watching Rocky surround his bed in large panels of xenonite: Hey dude. What the heck.

Rocky: Grace be more grateful. Rocky work hard on this.

Grace: Grateful for what?? What are you doing to my bed??

Rocky: Xenonite is for baby time. Is removable. Just for baby time.

Grace: ….What???

Rocky, doing the Eridian equivalent of a long-suffering-sigh: Grace do baby time before bed. Baby Grace sleep better. Grace understand, question?

Grace: Yeah, I know that-

Rocky: Baby Grace sleep so good he drop soft Earth animal on floor. Baby Grace wake up and cry, cry, cry.

Grace:…

Rocky, proudly tapping the xenonite: Rocky fix, statement.

Grace: 🥺🥺🥺You made me a crib so I won’t drop my fox stuffy off the bed when I’m little?😭

Rocky: What is “crib”, question? What is “fox stuffy”? Grace not making sense. Why leaking. Why leaking. Why leaking.

Grace, barely holding it together: You know it’s called crying I just heard you say it!!!!😭😭😭😭😭

Grace may be a certified baby but he is still a scientist and his specialist interests are still Space and Alien and golly gee willikers you'll never guess where he is and with whom. So like I feel like a lot of his interactions with Rocky while regressing on the ship would be like this.

Grace: How do you cry?

Rocky: Eridians do not cry. Eridians do not have eyes. Grace knows this, statement.

Grace, frustrated: But- I know. But when you're sad- cuz when I'm sad, I cry- ?

Rocky: Baby Grace want to learn what Eridians do when sad, question?

Grace: *nodding* yes. ...please.

Rocky: Grace sit down. I will teach about Eridian feelings.

Grace: *claps excitedly*

Grace, struggling to put on his space suit: I'm gonna go on a spacewalk!

Rocky: No. Grace stay on ship.

Grace, pausing and immediately tearing up: What? Why?

Grace, beginning to sniffle: But-

Rocky: Non-negotiable. Safety is most important. Grace can do spacewalk when baby time is done.

Grace: ...okay😞

Rocky: Good listener Grace. Look out window instead?

Grace, perking up: Maybe I'll see a nebula!!

Just for the sake of interest: if circumstances had turned out differently and Starscream had continued to live with Knock Out and Breakdown, watching various films with them, would he have had a certain favorite genre? Or even a certain favorite franchise, for which he would even be in a kind of fandom, lol :D

Little Starscream doesn't always get comedy and horror movies are out of the question. But Fantasy, sci-fi, and Adventure movies are his favorite. Depending on his headspace, he would like the following:

How To Train Your Dragon (2010)

Ben10 (2005)

Avatar the Last Airbender (2005)

The Batman (2004)

The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008)

Out of headspace, I think he would like Action movies because they're familiar. He could tolerate horror movies better when he's older, but sometimes they still get to be too much, and he hides behind his hands. Human gore is different from robot gore, and that could make it better or worse depending on the movie. He also likes animal documentaries.

I think he would like the following:

Corps Bride (2005)

Coraline (2009)

Narnia (2005)

Since my fic takes place in 2010 (as it does in TFP) I'm trying to name things during and before 2010.

Though not all of this is cannon in my fic, I think it would be amusing to give Jack, Miko, and Raph the responsibility of telling Starscream (and in turn the Autobots) what movies are 'real' or not. The alien movies/shows wouldn't need to be explained because the Bots and Cons have already met similar aliens. Which would be cool for the kids to learn.

Hellooooo! I'm writing this hoping that you and all your loved ones are well!

first of all, I loved the editing of the first few chapters; the little details are wonderfully meticulous.

And on my re-read, I realized something: Knockout has hidden enjex, right?. (The equivalent of an alcoholic drink, if I'm not wrong).

He and Breakdown would get drunk to to avoid the reality of losing their baby AGAIN?

I imagine Soundwave watching them, as he sees and hears everything, and not making any report to Megatron, and even trying to hide it from Megatron.

First: thank you so much!

Second: KO and BD do have a stash that they use VERY sparingly. They still have the good stuff from before the war, none of the "home-made" stuff some of the other 'Cons make. Knockout and Breakdown keep their stash a secret for two reasons.

Other 'Cons would steal it.

Starscream would confiscate it.

Soundwave doesn't really care who has Enjex or who gets drunk. As long as they don't do anything dangerous and gets to their shifts on time, he minds his business. Besides, Starscream gives him all the confiscated enjex to "deal with it." Enjex doesn't make for good fuel for the ship, and it would be a waste to just dump it. It would be hypocritical of Soundwave to judge mechs by their liquor stash, when his grows every time one of them gets busted.

Quick announcement!

I will be editing my fanfic: The Little Star.

After looking through it again I found that some of the early chapters no longer fit the story and have details that are either not relevant or only cause confusion.

When I started this fic, I had a lot of loose ideas of the plot and had no real direction. A lot of it was either to sound edgy or cool. I think you can see it in my vague writing that I didn't know what I was doing or what I wanted to do. Looking at it now, I would like to make things a bit clearer and give it more direction. Especially now that I have a better Idea of the story I want to write. The main plot will be the same, but the information will be clearer, if that makes sense.

I will be editing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chapters as of writing this and I will post the edited version of the chapters in three days. Hopefully enough time for those who might want to save the older version.

I will be editing my fanfic: The Little Star.

I like to think Grace really only had one stuffie for his age regression, but he LOVED it to bits.

He'd keep it in his bag to take to the school when he worked there, and somehow it ended up comforting him while stressed out over astrophage.

As the project got closer and closer to launch, Stratt would soon notice the stuffies presence in meetings or just carried around in general.

"He brings me a lot of comfort." Grace would say when she asked.

Fast forward to when Grace wakes up on the Hail Mary, and he's scavenging through a box labeled with his name, trying to figure out what the heck is going on and gain his bearings.

He eventually finds it: a stuffed animal. And he doesn't really remember anything significant about this stuffed animal but just holding it and rubbing the texture of the fur in his hands is...oddly comforting. But other than that he doesn't pay it much mind. Back in the box it goes.

Then he meets Rocky, and soon the two of them are making their way back to Erid. By now, Grace is pretty confident he remembers most if not everything, and decides to go through his stuff with more context.

He digs through the bin: clothes, photos, books, you know, the usual. And then he spots it again.

His stuffie.

And boy this kid starts BAWLING. He just assumed Stratt had thrown him away, but here he is, all the way across the stars with him. And hes been here the whole time, waiting for Grace to remember him.

And ofc Rocky is freaking out because "ahhh why Grace leaky question????" And Grace has to poorly explain the stuffie to Rocky and what it means to him.

And obviously when Grace finally gets to see the house the Eridians built for him? His stuffie is right there on the bed waiting for him.

imagining grace being extra clingy when regressed and rocky not knowing how to fix it so he just lets grace hold him in his hamster ball most of the time.

when he's not ultra clingy, grace and rocky play tag and when rocky chases grace, he purposely stays a few feet behind grace so he doesnt accidentally knock him down and hurt him (rocky's noticed that he's more clumsy when little, not that he knows why) and waits until he stops to turn around (to check that rocky is still behind him) until he slows down and lightly bumps into grace

and grace is a big cryer!!!!! sad? crying. angry? crying. happy? crying. doesnt know what he's feeling but its a lot? crying. this is usually what makes grace so clingy, especially happy tears and sad tears in particular

coming back to add this bc i just saw an edit of rocky telling grace "you are very brave" bc the way in which he says it has stuck with me since i first watched the movie and has stuck each time ive seen it because it is genuinely so sincere (and also heartbreaking) since this is one of the last things he thinks he will ever say to grace buuuuut all this to say, i think on very bad days when grace is super clingy and holding rocky's hamster ball and is nearly inconsolable, rocky likes to tell him affirmations since he cant hold him in return. sometimes it makes grace cry more and rocky feels bad, but grace reassures him that it's making him feel better
